Old Country Pizza — Restaurant in East Bridgewater

Wanted to try this place out because of all the great reviews that I read on here and needed something quick for delivery after putting the kids to bed. As soon as I told them my address was in Bridgewater, they gave me attitude and questioned me about what was around me, I told him I was "next to the middle school, high school, and the police station" and then gave the phone to another employee who said, "What do you want?" "How far away from here do you live because I'm not driving all the way to the other end of Bridgewater" I didn't know off the top of my head how far away my house was from there, but I was pretty pissed at this point and told him to forget about it. The funny part is, when I checked Google Maps afterward, it said that I'm only 8 minutes away from there. I could understand the frustration if I called right before they closed, but I called over an hour and a half before...

The young kid at the counter was friendly as well as what I'd assume to be the owners. Haven't tried to food yet but it smells good. Only concern i have, which has been mentioned in other reviews, is the lack of gloves. I don't not care about gloves being worn while food is being prepped, thats actually not required. But what worries me is the gentleman working grill going from the grill to the cash register. Also, no gloves were being worn while fully cooked food was being cut. They would get flagged instantly during a health inspection for that. I did not leave a low review because I am hoping the owners take that into consideration. Food safety should be a concern. I've been coming here for years. The food is great. The customer service is horrendous. The two brothers that own the place are bipolar. Constantly insulting customers that place take orders. I never once seen them wear gloves or wash their hands. Handling raw beef and chicken and then handling bread and condiments and food that has already been cooked. They have forgotten my order 3 times. I walk in and they say we forgot to make your food. I walked out and they were bad mouthing me. No compensation for my time. They also think that every call they get is a prank call. Not a good way to run a business. Longtime customer but unfortunately will be the last time. I hope they don't end up...
