Key points: Anthony fixed my problem in just a few days, was totally knowledgable in his field, he kept me in the loop regarding the whole repair process, and he was comfortable in my letting him make the choice in what particular replacement I got. Best of all, he even stayed after hours to allow me time to pick up my PC. He's a wonderful man, and would recommend his services to anyone.

I had been having a problem with my PC starting for about a year, and finally got around to having it repaired. I looked everywhere for possible places to take my computer, including a certain national repair chain, and also came across Uneek Computer Repairs. After reading the shining reviews left by others, I decided to give it a shot. I called early on a Monday morning and not more than 2 hours later walked in and met Anthony.

My PC is a custom gaming rig and after describing the problem I'd been having he immediately had 3 possible causes in mind he would check out. He told me he'd get started on it and would call me the next day (Tuesday).

When he called back that next day he informed me that a memory stick had been installed incorrectly and after fixing that problem my machine started up flawlessly. I told him that I had taken all the sticks out myself over the weekend in my own failed attempts in identifying the problem, and that it had been acting up long before then. He told me that he had my computer connected to his own power supply and that if the RAM was not the issue, the power supply was. He confirmed that, and called me again asking how I would like to proceed. I opted to give him free rein to find a good power supply for me. He then asked me if I needed the PC back quickly or if waiting for the part would be fine. I let him know, being as impatient as I am, that, if possible, he could have the new PSU overnighted and I'd, of course, cover the cost.

Wednesday came and went, but since the PSU was ordered so late in the afternoon on Tuesday, I assumed it was still traveling. When Thursday came, I called to check on things and Anthony apologized and told me the PSU had come in the day before, but he didn't have an opportunity to install it. I was totally fine with that. He let me know that he had the PSU hooked up and the computer was working again and he was just in the process of cleaning up the wiring. He told me he would give me a call that day if he was able to finish up, but otherwise would definitely have it all done on Friday.

I knew he closes at 6pm and when 5:30 came around I made the assumption my computer wouldn't be ready and took a shower. Right as I was about to get out, Anthony called leaving a voicemail letting me know the work was done and that he would still be in the shop 'til 6:30. I called him back and let him know I got his message and would do my best to get over to pick it up ASAP and he told me he'd stick around since I was coming to get it. Thankfully - it's right down the street from where I live.

It was already past 6:30 when I got there and he still stayed to talk me through everything he did and even answered some of my own unrelated questions for him. The price for everything was totally reasonable and exactly how much he told me it would be. Plus, his own cost completely beat even the nation-wide company I previously mentioned. He also allowed me to pay via PayPal in order to not worry about an additional charge for using a card!

Over all I'm completely satisfied with how well my computer is running again. I definitely plan to go back to him if I have any other problems down the road. Thank...

I had high expectations because of how good the reviews were online but came away fairly disappointed. Took my macbook in for a cleaning and a faulty 'T' key that alternated between sticking and not responding at all. I didn't ask U-Neek how long I could expect before getting it back which is my fault but they kept it for a week and I had to reach out to them for updates and to ask if it was ready. But the main frustration for me is a week later, I get the laptop back and right away it's obvious the problem wasn't fixed - I call back to let them know and that was it - no offer to bring it back in or apology for an ineffective fix! It's just very frustrating to be without your computer for a week and have to constantly follow up only for it to be .... exactly the same when you pay for it!

All that said, I did find them very professional and friendly and believe they did the work and spend a good deal of time on my problem. Especially considering in the end, they didn't overcharge me, kept the price close to the initial diagnostic estimate working on it for a week! I don't think I could recommend them to someone else based on my experience but absolutely could buy that my experience was an outlier or that computer was trickier than it seemed to fix so I might give them another chance next time I...
