First of all, let me start by saying buying a new washer and dryer this month was not on my list of things to do. That being said I had two choices, one go to the Big Box store 2 minutes from my house, or drive 25 minutes to JB Zimmerman. Full disclosure I worked for the Big Box store for 11 and a half years, and I worked for JB Zimmerman one year, 4 years ago. What I'm about to say regarding JB Zimmerman is the exact opposite of what I know I would have experienced at the Big Box store. I showed up at the store a couple of days before the 4th and went straight to appliances, The salesman greeted me we talked about the appliance I wanted and needed, we did some brief paperwork, I made my purchase, and went on my way. Approximately 15 minutes later I received a phone call letting me know that my delivery would be scheduled for the 7th between 12:00 and 4:00. The 7th comes around and 10 minutes before my delivery and install I received my call, and sure enough 10 minutes later they were at my home. So the two young men introduced themselves I showed them where the washer/dryer will be going, and they go about their business as do I. Without even so much as a second of hesitation they move the appliance up not one, not two, but three flights of stairs to the laundry closet in the bathroom. They were neat, clean, and organized while one of the two was cleaning up the other young man explained the appliance to me, put it through its paces, and assured me all was good. They did a phenomenal job! The customer service from my in-person visit, phone calls, delivery, and setup could not have gone any smoother. I didn't know these young men and they had no idea I worked there until I told them. Read moreA friend recommended JB Zimmerman to me last year, (2022) when I needed an over-the range microwave and dishwasher. I worked with Rachel Miller in Sales. Rachel was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable in appliances. It is very rare these days to have employees who know and understand their products. Very refreshing! And their pricing was good and competitive. Both were delivered and installed in a professional manner.
Fast forward to August/September 2023. I needed a dryer and refrigerator, and called on Rachel Miller at JB Zimmerman again. She was great to deal with again, and was very helpful in choosing the dryer and refrigerator. Dave Benedick finalized the order, and he too was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Nate and Tony delivered and installed the refrigerator and dryer. Both appliances were difficult installs. Both the old and new refrigerator doors had to be removed and re-installed and the front door had to be removed and reinstalled. The dryer install required a basement door and storm door to be disassembled and removed, than reinstalled. Both Nate and Tony were professional and careful in their work.

Read moreService Appliances… I called JB Zimmerman to repair the icemaker on my Bosch refrigerator. Candy took all of my information and set up an appointment. She was very accommodating regarding my schedule. She sounded genuinely happy to help (the way one should behave with every customer). On the day of the appointment Sean (Shawn?) came prepared with the necessary parts and got right to work. He didn’t mind the kitty occasionally snoopervising. When he was finished he made sure the area was clean and advised what I should do if there were any future concerns. The ice started coming out within a few hours and has been great ever since. I wish I had called JB Zimmerman sooner because it’s really hard to find an authorized Bosch service center in the area. I had contacted other service centers closer to my home but they were either unwilling or had poor ratings. Now I know who to call. Candy and Sean were both so friendly and polite and the cost of the repair was very reasonable.
