George DeLallo Company, Inc. — Local services in East Huntingdon Township

I have ordered many times from Delallo, good pasta and products but the customer service is terrible. I put in a large order and got two boxes, one was part of my order the other was some one else’s. Like 30 pounds of tomato purée. I talked to customer service who asked for a picture which I provided, I offered to box it up for a pick up but she said no keep it that they will send my right order soon. I unpack the stuff , get the box and packaging into the recycling dumpster and box it up for a food bank donation next month and what do I get…. An email saying no send it back with a printable ups label…. No details on my missing products no apology just a we talked it over and you need to send it back. Place looks descent. Avin the guard was pretty professional and was quick at check in and was assigned a loading dock. When going in the office to hand in paperwork this guy who’s name is Sam has no people skills and is terrible at basic communication. Was rude and very unprofessional clearly hated being there. In my company I do not tolerate such Representation of the company! This behavior does not put a good image for Delallo. I hope he was just having a bad day and it was just a fluke we all have those days. After speaking with 5 people who have just dealt with Sam they all came to the same conclusion…. Hmmm weird. Hope the owner reads this and considers making some changes to his administration. Best of luck...

I just want to say that my experience picking up a load at DeLallo's was wonderful. I was loaded at the docks in 30 minutes. I spent maybe an hour total on the property. The older gentleman in the shipping office was very professional and neat with my multi-drop paperwork, arranging everything in order and briefly explaining the order of the drops and products on board. I do not believe that there's any on-site parking, for the facility is gated and small, but there's a Sheetz station 2 miles away with some truck parking...not alot, but maybe 15 parking spots.
