The Cabin Bar N Grille — Restaurant in Hempfield Township

We would frequent here 10+ yrs ago. The outside deck was open, there was always a wait. The place was packed on weekends no matter what time you came. We decided to stop for dinner on sat 7/26/25. Were 7 cars in parking lot. Got to the door said you had to be 18 to enter, a restaurant???? Opened the door and the cigg smoked took your breath away. Baretender was very professional, I asked if kitchen was open, there was people at bar smoking , you could tell they were regulars. Very uncomfortable, not welcoming at all. It was too late to go elsewhere to eat, I asked if we could sot outside. Service was oustanding, waitress was plesant, she was also bartender. Food was good, not a comfortable place to spend the money I did. We waited forever for check, so we all got up to to leave had to go inside to pay and the waitress was shooting pool! Sorry wont return or recommend the place. The owners need to decide if they want a local bar to gather and drink, or...

Stopped in this friendly bar for take out and a quick beer. Chris, our bartender, was super sweet and allowed our dog in while we waited for our food. The owners dog Lily came in and was right at home. We're dog lovers, but some people may not be while they're trying to eat.

We ordered horseradish steak wrap and a turkey and bacon wrap. We got a nice surprise in our take out bag, a dog treat! So nice of Chris. The wraps we got were good. The homemade potato chips were good, too.

Good menu, nice variety of bar food. Server seemed like she'd rather be anyplace else, but she did her job, and took pretty good care of us. Took kinda long to get our food, considering there was only one other table. It tasted great though when we finally got it.
