Bird-in-Hand Artisan Village — Local services in East Lampeter Township

I was so excited to visit this store, as it looked adorable from the photos, but it exceeded my expectations.

Firstly, it’s huge. The store kept going and going. I didn’t look too much at the exterior and found out it’s connected to the neighboring building.

Secondly, the range of products they have is fantastic. They have furniture, trinkets and knick-knacks, baby items, clothing, accessories, gifts, home goods, kitchen supplies, plants, backpacks and purses, bath and body, and so much more.

And lastly, you have locally made, unique items that you can purchase with a story. There is something for everyone and it’s a cool, affordable gift that’s well made and built to last.

I’m definitely coming...

The Artisan village offered a very enjoyable shopping experience. There is a good sized parking lot. The building used is old so the old wood floors and other aspects are neat. As you walk through you see lots of different items for sale by different artists. Lots of decor items, bird feeders, furniture, jewelry, candles, soaps. You can find items for yourself and others. All staff encountered were very friendly...

High quality crafts. I thought some of the vendors should have more selections. And for some reason I thought some of the craft people would be there to talk to. I was interested in custom stained glass. I would have liked to see more of a selection of wizard brooms. I know I can get it custom brooms online but it’s more fun when on a vacation to...
