If you're looking for an amazing bakery and cafe, then Bird in Hand Bakery & Cafe is the place for you! Located conveniently on Google Maps, this cozy cafe is the perfect spot for a delicious breakfast or lunch.
The baked goods here are simply outstanding, with a wide variety of bread, pastries, and cakes to choose from. The croissants are flaky and buttery, while the cinnamon rolls are soft and gooey. The coffee is also excellent, with a rich and smooth flavor that pairs perfectly with any pastry.
The menu offers a great selection of sandwiches and salads, all made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The chicken salad sandwich is a personal favorite, with a delicious homemade dressing and a generous portion of tender chicken.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and a charming decor. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and service.
Overall, I highly recommend Bird in Hand Bakery & Cafe for anyone looking for a tasty breakfast, lunch, or snack. This is definitely a five-star spot that deserves a visit when you're...
Read moreFirstly, I'm sure there are many amazing things about the establishment however I'm giving this review based on some baked goods that I purchased. Based on the reviews I was expecting some amazing country baked goods made lovingly by someone's grandma. Unrealistic maybe, but being in Amish country I was in search of some quality bread products. It didn't even occur to me to read the label. It wasn't until I returned to my hotel room and tasted a dinner roll did I read the ingredients list. I could tell by the texture and tastelessness that these buns were staight out of some factory somewhere. I couldn't have been more disappointed. Unfortunately I had also bought a loaf of cinnamon bread whose ingredients list was just as long. I don't know about you but when I make bread the list usually has 5 ingredients or less. I feel like it's completely misleading to put Highly processed factory made baked goods in a bakery and pass them off as...
Read moreWe've lived in Lancaster for 2 years and have yet to visit this lovely place. Since it was the first day of spring and they offer a free scoop of ice cream I figured I would support a local establishment rather than a big national chain. It was wonderful ice cream! I also got coffee and bagels afterwards. Just across the parking lot there are a couple of adorable animals in a little fenced enclosure. Today we saw goats, a donkey, and chickens! My girls were all about that. There's also a lovely little playground with a very shallow Creek running through it. I definitely learned my lesson about not bringing Wellies on this bright sunny 45 degree day. We came home with wet feet but happy hearts. This will definitely become a place...
