The Main Street Exchange — Local services in East Lampeter Township

Hands down, Main Street Exchange is the best place to shop for modest clothing. We love it so much that we flew in from North Carolina to shop the store in person (this was our second time coming)! We came in the store yesterday, then again today because we didn’t get as big of a haul as we wanted. Today, we came a couple hours before closing and the ladies, Anna Grace & Jana (I hope I spelled it right), were the most amazing and so helpful! We probably tried on 100 things and both ladies were “waiting on us hand and foot”. It got to the point where they were pulling items before we could even ask for them, just because they overheard us saying we thought we should try it, or needed it in a different size. They were constantly checking online to see if things were in stock and even going in the back to grab items that weren’t on display. I’d give these girls 100 stars if I could, and honesty they each deserve a raise!😉 Outstanding customer service and phenomenal clothing selection for all sizes. Lancaster Trip with my friends included Main Street Exchange. We parked out front and traipsed around to the hidden front door, which was tucked behind a corner. As soon as we stepped inside, we were surrounded by the lovely scents of candles. My friends and I loved the pretty coffee bar set up near the door and the beautiful young woman who greeted us with a smile. We shopped for an hour or so, tried on dresses and skirts, and scoured the clearance wracks. We had the store to ourselves for most of our time there, until a group of young women entered the store. Two of my friends were in two of the six dressing rooms. The girls gathered around the dressing rooms and whispered about how "the rooms are full," even though we were occupying only two rooms. We hastily grabbed our bags and went elsewhere. When I was ready to check out, I had to wait on the attendant, but she was pleasant, and we had a nice chat. Visit this establishment. I’ve always had the hardest time finding a modest jean skirt for my daughter due to her small frame, but I recently came across your website after watching a YouTube video that mentioned your store! I went to website looking for clothes for me and to my surprise, I was able to find the perfect jean skirt for my daughter! It is great material and great length… and it has an adjustable waist band! I got my 9 year old a size 8 and it falls right below her knees. This is a must have for those who have girls who wear a size 14 or less. BTW, the service is great too!!!
