Worst experience I have ever had in all the years of having my nails done. My sister in law and I went to get our Nails filled after hearing good things about it.. they must have mistaken the name because we both had horrendous experiences. My sister in laws nails were so thin they looked like they could just snap off. They were extremely sharp and SOOO uneven. They were crooked and they didn't even paint her entire nail. The woman who did my nails was very rude and really rough. She sanded my cuticles to the point they almost bled. My nail beds were sore the next day. She rushed through the entire thing and made my nails look ridiculous. I looked like I let someone practice acrylics/fill for the very first time. They were all uneven and had bumpss alllllll over them. The acrylic was so thick that the place that I went to get them fixed at had to remove them because they were that messed up. I had to start fresh with tips all over again. She did not even paint my whole nail. It looked like my nails had grown out before even leaving the salon. I had acrylic over my nail beds and on my skin beside my nail. As soon as she was done she got her purse and practically ran out of the place. If she didn't have the time and was in a hurry I wish she would have just told me she didn't have time rather than embarrass us both the way she did. We went and got our nails done elsewhere three days later because I was so embarrassed having those dreadful things on my hands. I will never be back nor will I ever recommend them to anyone...
Read moreI am not one to write reviews. I read them, but I don't often write them. I had to write this one! This dip manicure was torturous! I should have trusted my first impression and walked out, but I thought I would give them a try. I've been getting dip manicures for roughly 1.5 years at a different salon and this one was AWFUL! The gal made my cuticles bleed and cut my pinky finger with an emery board which was sore for days! Some of my nails are shaped funny, but I can deal with that, it was the soreness of my fingers that was problematic! She got glue (from a tip she put on my pinky finger) on my skin. It adhered to her glove and she just ripped it off. SKIN AND ALL!!!
The latex gloves she had on looked as though she had been wearing them all week. They had holes in them! I just prayed when I left not get sepsis from the instruments she used on my nails. Who knows if they were clean! I didn't think the facility was clean at all.
I read the reviews before making an appointment and thought I would give them a try. Lesson learned...I'll return to the salon I've been going to. Needless to say I will NOT be returning...
Read moreWent twice to give them benefit of the doubt. Was cut on my cuticles to the point I was bleeding twice. Got a new set of acrylic my first visit and when I went back in 2 weeks for a refill they were already lifting pretty bad. The owner tried to blame that on me but I don't use water other then the usual washing my hands. I have been getting my nails done for 15 years and have never seen acrylic lift that quickly! They did not do a base coat or paint the tips of my nails. They also did not massage my hands or use the hot towel. Needless to say they skipped a lot of steps that are usually part of a manicure of acrylic refill. My second visit I requested a small cut down. My nails are the shortest they have ever been because the man kept getting them crooked and having to file them again and again. Also, Both visits I was there entirely too long not even with a wait. Just because they are ridiculously slow. Never...
