The Pizza Shop Enola — Restaurant in Enola

I'm one of the most regular customers the Shop has. Their pizza is great MOST of the time. 95% (or more) of the time, it's the best cheese pizza you could get. The other 5% the pizza has burnt stuff that tastes foul on the bottom (burnt cheese) and one of the weirdest I've had happen a few times is that the cheese under the surface is almost crunchy, like coleslaw. Their pepperoni pizza could use some work though. Doesn't feel like the pepperoni is baked in, more like it was warmed up on top. Very friendly staff, for the most part. Like anyone you'll ever meet, they can get annoyed. A little more attention to minimum pizza quality would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT 2/5/19: Increased from 4 to 5 stars. Minimum pizza quality has improved significantly and I've not had any issues in many months. I've also started eating their Cheese-Steak Hoagies on occasion, and they're very tasty. There is occasionally a little too much grease left so it can soak the break and drip onto your hands. They automatically come with a small bag of chips, which is weird to me and I'd prefer to save a dollar and not get it, but it's fine.

I still normally get 2 slices and a drink for $6 which really is a good deal. The slices are plenty large. I would love to see a sort of mix&match style pricing, so I could get 2 slices for $4, or 1 slice and a drink for $4. Some friends of mine would appreciate the same, as some cannot eat two slices from the Pizza Shop in one sitting.

Only other product I've gotten there is the cannolis, which are also impressively large. Two for $5 is an okay deal and I'll buy them as a treat every now and then. They taste good, but I want more chocolate chips in them (my constant complaint with cannolis...

I just want to say that the pizza shop is the best little hole in the wall establishment you’ll find when it comes to amazing food, fantastic service and cleanliness! Elvis was absolutely amazing to us! He was so accommodating and took so much pride in the food he made! we ordered a large amount of food when we were there (it was me my friend and 3 kids) I was interested in the one pizza slice they had on display called the chicken Caesar salad pizza and he allowed me to try it bc he said i would love it!! He was right! It was the BEST PIZZA I’ve ever had in my life- not even kidding. He saw us struggling at the booth with our littles so he came over and brought over a larger table for us to help with a huge smile on his face and said he had a toddler as well. He was so kind and thoughtful, you really don’t find customer service like he alludes anymore and it made our hearts so happy! Thank you Elvis- you deserve a huge raise lol!!! The place is extremely clean (can’t find a dust speck anywhere lol) and the pricing is unmatched! Great jobs guys! You’re running a fantastic establishment. Btw we got chips, drinks, a large pizza (which was amazing) motz sticks, and we tried a that slice of pizza! Everything was DELICIOUS!

I'm reviewing on behalf of my coworkers from the hospital. We've always ordered from them and on Sunday, March 11, 2018 we had a big order in, as we always do. When I opened the box with the fries it was so burnt black and tasted bitter, I called in to the shop and told the guy who answered the phone that I can't believe that they sent the fries although they knew they were badly burnt, he said " that's how the fries are!" I told him this is not the first time I'm ordering fries from them. He went on to say different places, different fries! without any apologies. I was shocked at his behavior and immediately said really! Not even an apology? He said if you want your money back for the fries you can stop by and pick it up. SO RUDE! Also we ordered Funnel Cake Fries, apparently they ran out of them but didn't bother to call us and let us know and see if we wanted something else, instead they waited until they delivered then upon leaving the delivery guy said oh btw we ran out of the funnel fries and left with all the money including the money for the funnel fries. Pizza Shop, all we have to say is you have lost yourself good costumers! POOR...
