Outstanding store , lot of great product selection. A nice little store and feels like our family neighbor store. Store setup is not a regular grocery store, shopping experience would be completely different. Garden center is just opposite to this store, parking can be little tight when it is crowd (I never been then when it was crowd), but that should not be a problem for many who really cares for the organic , local products and support the local business. Staffs are active, welcoming , passionate, attentive. Lot of sections in this store, spaced perfectly (don’t expect too much space on aisles like big box store), well planned, priced well too. Will definitely come back and recommend to try this store by yourself.

Great grocery store where everybody knows everybody! Friendly staff. Great products selection, amazing coffee beans by Hobo Ed’s Coffee Roaster. ( coffee demo on special days). The espresso Brazilian/sumatra served at their cafe was so good! Plus delicious soups and saladas for a quick meal.

Cute little organic shop we heard about and had to see for ourselves. Very expensive but cute and found some amazing products to take home. The coffee and pastries were amazing. Must try!

2023-05 Since the review 2 years ago, my wife and I went to a Whole food Plant based way of eating. The change was difficult, but so worth it! KWF was there for us. The pricing escaped us before because we were still going to tons of restaurants and our diet was filled with all the things that was keeping us unhealthy. When we made the choice it made sense that we could pay as high as $250 for a week worth of food, but, sans the extra expense of restaurants and convenient food. We ended up reducing our food expenses when lumped together in a spreadsheet, and see the amounts paid out, so much better!

Food quality is stellar! Staff at Kimberton make you feel like family.

Public service in this capacity can be so thankless and unforgiving, these people are on point with a smile greeting and pleasant knowledgeable and helpful assistance with what ever it is you need.

An excellent non-pharmacy for medical ailments and vitamin supplements, with a great CBD and Tinctures section for full spectrum health needs.

Be healthy and happy at KWF!

2 years ago... Kimberton Whole Foods has a great assortment of fresh food. Very clean environment and friendly staff. They also serve food there as I remember, although since Covid, not sure. It’s just the perfect place to get fresh meats, veggies, and so much more and organic everything!

*That being said, the prices are just too high for us, when the same food and quality can be found at other locations.

But remember, you get what you pay for. I can’t imagine you would be disappointed with anything you purchase at Kimberton Whole Foods.

Good for...

One of the best things about the community where I live in Phoenixville is access to KWF. And speaking of that, there is a nice sense of community in the store and cafe. There is a misconception that the grocery prices are expensive. As far as organic goes, it is very competitive. When I'm in a pinch and buy organic at Giant, I notice the price difference in favor of KWF. I'm also getting a good value and the produce lasts longer because most of it is local. (Obviously, bananas cannot reasonably be local). I like that they advertise where my food is coming from and take great care with how they source their products. And by the way, if you want to save money on food, buy whole foods, not processed. It's a big lifestyle change for some but it is worth it! It can be done! Plus you will save money on healthcare costs in the end. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. I love the cafe and have trouble not supporting my habit of getting my biodynamic coffee with organic half & half. They also have organic sugar, honey, stevia, etc. The ladies in the apothecary have influenced my life for the better. They have made it easier for me to choose the right products for my needs from whole food vitamins or probiotics to the right cod liver oil. I'm deeply grateful...

The Original Whole Foods market.

When I was a kid I have fond memories of my mom driving me and my three siblings over an old school country dirt road, across a rickety covered bridge and pulling up to an old dilapidated chicken coop type shack surrounded by nothing but vast, lush green fields. In the shack were a few freezer chests which were stocked to the brim with Seven Stars yogurt. On the shelves were handmade paper bags filled with organic granola. Mom would have us grab a few pints of yogurt and a couple bags of granola as she left a handful of bills in a basket on the counter. We'd skip out back to fields and pick whatever produce happened to be in season - string beans and blueberries stand out prominently in memory.

The humble beginnings of Kimberton Whole Foods.

Today, although no longer a small shack situated on the edge of acres of lush farmland, Kimberton Whole Foods still maintains that same wholesome, healthy, communal vibe as it did in my childhood. It is this very consistency in staying true to its roots which makes Kimberton Whole Foods a staple not only to the community in which it was founded, but now to much of the greater Philadelphia region with locations in Berks and...
