Delicious brunch over at Stone House Grille in Kimberton, PA! F.O.G. Omelet (fig, onion, goat cheese) and the Mediterranean Omelet both 10/10! Cute and cozy place with friendly staff and great food. I’ll definitely be back. #stonehousegrille #phoenixville #kimbertonpa #pennsylvania #brunch

A wonderful meal, with an amazing server, at a beautiful spot. We dined here on Friday evening and chose to sit outside. The inside looked awesome and had really cool decor. The outside seating was beautiful with spring flowers in bloom and awesome tunes 🎵🎵 in the air (as a dead head I'm a bit partial). The staff were super friendly and very attentive. For apps we had the SalZar fries, meatloaf bites, and fried green tomatoes, for dinner the fried chicken sandwich, veggie burger, and a bacon cheese burger. Everyone loved their foods. The sauces were amazing!! The aioli on the fries, Fire on the mountain sauce, and sauce with the meatloaf bites. The fries were perfect and a top 5 all time fry for me. Will definitely be back and looking forward to trying brunch next time.

I enjoyed a solo lunch in an old converted, I assume home 1700's. It was warmly decorated for Christmas. I arrived around 12:30 and was torn between breakfast or lunch menu. Both had a few items each I was tempted by. I settled on Mama Jama sliders with homemade chips. Juicy chicken, reminiscent of bourbon chix, bacon, tomato jam and arugula. It was good decision! These days I fill up fast so sliders were a good size. As I'm on a budget, a trick I use to reduce meal cost is stick to water and take the free chips. I was full on what I had so i expect fries would have been wasted on me.I like to leave the waitress a 20% tip minimum so I can do that with out effort given my budget saving strategy. I suspect parking is a problem on busy days but they do have it front and back.

I've been here a few times. The food is good and the service is okay. Don't plan on coming here if you are hungry, the wait times are pretty bad, and even if you make a reservation be prepared to be seating well after your reservation time. I don't believe they have a proper SOP in place for reservation management as opposed to walk-ins. Parking is also very limited.

Reply: Hello "Stone House Grille Owner", Just to let you know, replies from the reviews have to be made by editing the comment. I'm not sure if you were aware, seeing as how you are not responding very well to critical criticism. I am very familiar with SOPs, as I have creating them for several restaurants. I was just giving you feedback to help you improve your business.

There was no clear signage or safe standing areas without blocking the entrance/exits while waiting. Along with the fact that we had to ask other people waiting who was even seating or checking in reservations. I suggest you block out reservation slots and stop seating walk-ins if your reservations are full, also you should probably remove your 8:45pm seating option when you close at 9pm, because that's not only unrealistic, but based on my personal experience both times, you won't even be seating a guest or have a server able to greet them in that time period. Also if you don't have cameras, you should get some installed. Holding staff members accountable for their responsibilities is crucial to a successful team and business. I bring these points up because I was unable to speak to whomever was your shift leads or management, as I couldn't tell if there was a leader at all for your staff.

Also you should work on your "professional" responses. Maybe fix up your grammar and spelling to sound more professional. I recommend something like this:

"Raymond, thank you very much for your review. Given your knowledge of SOPs, I'm sure you brought your concerns to one of our shift leads or a member of management. Could you let me know who you spoke with? We truly appreciate your feedback and value you...

We were warned when we were seated that they were behind and we would have to wait "a few extra minutes" for our food. We were fine with that and don't mind just hanging out as long as we have drinks! However, we ordered a beer and after 15 minutes the waitress came back and asked what beer we ordered because she didn't remember. It took another 15 minutes to arrive for a total of 30 minutes for a beer. I wouldn't have considered giving a lower rating for this if it wasn't for the appetizer. For an appetizer, we ordered the fried tomatoes. I was hesitant because it was $14, similar to the cost of a burger or tacos, and there is no protein. I am big on looking at google images and instagram posts to see what looks good and the images of the fried tomatoes showed 5-6 thick slices. A great size for an appetizer despite the cost. After 45 minutes, we recieved 4, small, paper thin slices. It is questionable if there was even tomato because it wasn't visible nor could it be tasted. I wish I had taken a photo because it was not at all like any of the images posted. It was very disppointing that we didn't receieve the same level of quality and were still charged $14 for what I'd define as a pathetic presentation. I understand they may have been backed up, but that doesn't mean they should be cutting corners on quality or portions. To end, our waitress asked if we wanted anything else and we said we were done. She completely disappeared and could be seen talking behind the counter. Finally, another waitress saw us waiting and looking and she brought us our check. A positive: the burgers, fries, and salad were great! We had no complaints with how things tasted. I have been here once before for lunch, and the food was also great then. For this reason, I would consider giving them...

We called at on a Saturday for a reservation for 2 that evening. They said 6:30, but that it would be a high-top table. They didn't explain that the stools had no back support, but no big deal. We immediately noticed that with the hard surfaces (floor, ceiling, walls) and crowded conditions, the noise was deafening. My Apple Watch even gave me a loud environment notification. We arrived on time, and when we were seated we were advised that the kitchen was backed up. We put our drink order in at 6:40, and ordered our entrees at 6:50. Our entrees arrived at 7:42! Our server did not stop by for that entire time, to apologize, offer a drink refill, nothing. In fact, after our entrees arrived, I had to get up to get the server's attention so I could get another soda. The next day, I emailed the restaurant and explained what had happened. The owner, Bill, replied to me. He said "thank you". No "we're sorry, we were overwhelmed, we had new staff in the kitchen". Nothing. I replied saying that his response was inappropriate, and I haven't received a response. Neither do I expect one at this point. The food wasn't bad, but the uncaring attitude of both staff and management was appalling. We will NEVER...
