I paid them to package and ship two hydraulic arms they were heavy 4-ft long and weighed approximately 30 lb a piece.
They placed both items in one box with no packaging to secure them in place during shipping when they arrived at their destination the receiver refused delivery because they were obviously damaged during shipping. The tracking number they gave me originally said that they were safely delivered seven days after they were shipped this turned out to be incorrect. They failed to contact me to tell me that the items had been returned to the store when I called to confirm the tracking number and find out where the items were they told me they didn't know and they would look into it and get back to me I went to the store because I felt like there was more to the story they couldn't find the tracking number they couldn't find any information on the delivery and subsequent return of the items when one of the intelligent employees looked it up on the computer and tied it to my phone number and said they had been returned I then looked around and noticed a very large box on the ground that's when it became apparent that the items had been returned and were sitting in their store for almost 3 weeks when I asked why they didn't contact me when the package was returned? The owner said that he didn't have my phone number ? obviously I provided all the necessary information including My phone number The proof being that the young man looked up the transaction on the store computer using my phone number. I was more than frustrated and at that time I simply asked that they return my original shipping fees. The owner refused to return the shipping costs.
Anyone with common sense would understand placing two heavy metal objects 4' long into a 5' box and not putting any packing materials to secure it in place was just plain stupid.
I would avoid using this business at all costs they do not have the ability to complete the simplest of tasks and if they do make a mistake they have proven not to own up to it and do the right thing by the customer.

And when I arrived at the UPS Store in Easton, I believed all my problems were about to fade away, except I was in the UPS Store and I was supposed to be dropping off a package for another carrier all together.

What started and grew as one of the most frustrating of recent days, was transformed into a peaceful, zen-like oasis -- because someone very special, took a few extra moments to care.
Special People really can make a huge difference in the World -- when they see a plight of another and put their heart in it.
The Young Woman at the UPS Store -- Haley may be her name -- put her heart in it...and demonstrated quite masterfully what doing good business is all about.
If you need to pack and ship -- scoot yourself over to the UPS Store and Easton and say an extra thanks to Haley and the friendly, competent, Professional Pro's at the UPS Store.
Though I live miles and miles away, I'm dropping off extra shipments there -- just because they earned it.
We need GOOD local businesses and we need true Earth Angels -- like that special young woman who turned a disastrous day around, with just a few magic beats of her Healer's Heart.

Read moreI had a very positive experience at this locally owned and operated UPS Srore. Let me start by saying I arrived 5min before closing on the Thursday before Xmas. There were 2 people in line ahead of me but when I asked if I should go somewhere else, Jack said "no" there's a bit of a line but you're welcome to wait. I picked out a greeting card from their vast selection and was next in line. A helpful young woman named Martie took care of the label, picked the most inexpensive way to ship (since I had missed the xmas deadline or was going to be charged close to 80$) and reassured me she had shipped many packages and mine would be well taken care of and would arrive in a week or so. I can't say enough good about this small business and it's owner. I don't trust just anyone with Rocky Marciano memorabilia but I feel Jack and Martie at The UPS Store understood the importance of the sentiment enclosed in my little pizza boxes. Believe it or not; these boxes are being shipped as cute as I packed them. No extra boxes surrounding them. I can't wait to hear from my friends in CO. when they get them! Thank you Jack and Martie! Happy...
