I made my appointment with Rachel at the Trio Hair Suite almost three weeks in advance, informing her that I would like to get a haircut and color. I asked how much the price would be for both.

I was given a price and showed up to my appointment. When I showed up I was informed that Rachel does not cut hair, something I was not informed of prior. I drove 1.5 hours under the impression I was getting a haircut and color for a certain price. A major reason for booking the appointment for me was to get a haircut.

After letting Rachel know I was upset about the situation and asking if a discount would be possible since I was informed I would be getting a cut and a color for the price she quoted, Rachel did not offer a discount for her mistake. I was charged the full amount just for color.

I paid for my fiance to have a service done with Trio Hair Suites, seeing Rachel Dukowitz. She charged $130 for hair coloring and the color did NOT come out right. When the concern was brought to her attention, she did not do what a normal colorist would do, which is a color correction to keep the client happy, instead she said she would have to charge more to fix her bad coloring. Funny that I'm not a colorist and have lifted my hair from black to blonde in one sitting. She basically stole money from me. I will have to file complaints with the BBB.
