Simply Mk Shoppe & Café — Local services in Eden

Simply MK is such a good restaurant. The menu had quite a selection. And the food was out of this world good. The atmosphere was just as good as the food. Everything there is made to order fresh. I got their BLT sandwich with a baked potato. And I'm telling u that is the best BLT that I have ever had. Most of the time when I order a BLT from a restaurant I never really get fully satisfied and it always leaves me wanting more. But this sandwich was loaded with bacon and the tomato was absolutely delicious. And the prices were really good. I ate cheaper here than I do at any of the fast food restaurants around. And yet the food was so much better than any fast food restaurant and a lot better than a lot of the restaurants around this area. I love the fact that it is family owned and operated. I felt welcomed the minute I walked n. And the service was excellent. I totally suggest giving Simply MK Shoppe & Cafe a try. U won't regret it. I will b coming back soon and I'm excited to try more of the different foods on the menu. I'm also looking forward to trying out the pizza buffet and the salad bar. I walked in..no one said anything. Sat down for 10 min..everyone walked by and still no one took 2 seconds to even acknowledge that I was there..no hello…be right with you or nothing. Thought maybe it was because it was lunch time but after looking around, there were only 3 or 4 people eating. There was a woman in the back making hamburger Patties who made eye contact with me several times and still..not a word. I understand that you may not get service as soon as you walk through the door but at least acknowledge your customers to let them know that you see them and that you are happy that of all the places to eat, they chose your restaurant. Word of mouth...

Loved it from day one. The food was great, pretty varied menu for such a small kitchen & staff, premium lunch meat. My favorite: Initially, the service was exceedingly fabulous. Quick, accurate, friendly, smiles all around. Staff seemed to love their jobs, coworkers & customers. Cutest gift shop that made me quickly empty my wallet.

Current times: Food hasn't changed, still great. Layout has changed for the worst. Staff barely grunts at you & seem miserable being there.
