Sweet Revenge Bakery & Occasion Cakes — Restaurant in Eden

This place is amazing, they have the most creative pastries. Many are fan favorites like lemon bars and they have many cake options to get a slice from. They've got plenty of seating inside and it's very open. Their cupcakes are to die for and I recommend the Monkey Butter anything when you go. The home made Twinkies are so good, but don't leave without getting a pecan bar. I went on Saturday, it seems their pastries do change and I'm not sure if that depends on the day. Staff is super friendly and they remember you! All in all great pastries, cupcakes and cakes at a great price.

Update 5/10/2023 The team here absolutely blew my family away as we moved here from Jersey and my father looked high and low for an Italian Rum Cake. He came to the bakery asking if they'd make it and while they couldn't. That didn't mean it wouldn't happen, within weeks they gave my father a call. They'd made the cake like true bakers, what an inspirational bakery to order from. The cake was so good, it made all of us so happy and gave us fond memories of our days with family back in NJ. These people who work here have such great passion. Highly recommend.

Occasionally we will go by Sweet Revenge to pick up a sweet treat or 3 and have never been disappointed in the product or customer service. So recently we have been on a family team to put together a baby shower for my son and daughter in law. Our part was to order a cake and additional cupcakes. I carried in a picture of a cake we really liked and asked them if they could just come “close” to what it looked like. So after we were convinced they could come close to replicating it we placed the order for the cake and 5 dozen cupcakes. About a week before the shower I called to add another dozen cupcakes. When we picked everything up the cake was almost EXACTLY like the reference picture and the cupcakes were beautiful as well. When they rang us up I noticed they had not charged us for the 6th dozen cupcakes and I brought it to their attention. Get this, because of my honesty they only charged us half price for that dozen. I just wanted to help our small businesses and know I couldn’t have walked away without paying with a clean conscience. They are the best. Thank you Sweet Revenge for a beautiful, and delicious cake. Sweet Revenge was a 5 Star for me until 12/13-14/19. The cake I went into the the store to order, with a picture, was then offered to upgrade to a Rose Gold from the pink for an extra $10, turned out an AWFUL BRONZE color. Keep in mind this a cake for daughter's 30TH birthday party, paid in full when ordered. Friday evening, after some ridiculous debating, they agreed to "redo" the cake frosting and add the roses that were not even on the cake, as the picture indicated. Fortunately, the party was Saturday and I could drive back to Eden from Martinsville before the party to pick up the "redo". I would not be posting this if the "redo" was not a sloppy careless mess. The Rose Gold was painted onto the icing in several places, and the roses were not airbrushed as promised. This $58 dollar cake was delicious but a complete disappoint and...
