We/our family love having a new Crest nearer to our house. The closest small quick stop Trant grocery store to our house is Dollar General and they're expensive. We don't shop there anymore. Than we just absolutely need too. And that's not very often.
Before Crest opened Their new store at sooner and Covell In Edmond Oklahoma. Walmart was the closest place to go grocery shopping. We're tired of Walmart. It's not the place to save money and get great produce and other stuff like it once was 50 years ago.
Crest new stores as well as their older locations are clean, well organized, and well stocked with all the good grocery items to include healthy food and not so healthy. But we live in a country where we can still choose to shop and purchase what we want whether or not it's good for you. Personally I love the meat department of Crest. They grind fresh hamburger every morning. They have good prices for fresh meat in the meat department.
Recently I was at Crest after dropping my daughter off at work. She starts at 5 a.m.
Crest employees were friendly and helpful at 5:15 a.m. They were diligently Working together in all the apartments, getting ready for the day. Working all together like a well. Oiled machine checking product dates and verifying everything was neatly in its place.
Brisket is $3.80 a pound. I love to smoke Brisket. With the new store within 8 miles of my house. Crest is our favorite grocery store. Great meat selections as well as 1 of the best produce departments with great prices. It's just one of the best Grocery...
Read moreI had just bought a carton of cigarettes at this store today. I also buy a lot of groceries there each week and each month throughout the year. Today this carton I bought was nearly $100. They gave me the wrong carton. I didn’t notice this until I got home. I came by the store and asked them to give me the correct carton in exchange for the one they gave me and I requested and paid for but their customer service told me they would not do it. My wife and I brought the carton back exactly how it was when they handed it to us. It was intact. The girl at the counter hesitated and said just a minute I need to go talk to someone. Then she returned with two other people and altogether, they were a chorus of rude and condescending snarkiness. They were not polite at all they could’ve just professionally explained, but the policy is something to the effect of, “I’m sorry, but we can’t do that and here’s why.” They just belittled me for being too stupid not to realize I had picked up the wrong carton and I should have paid more attention because the display on the cash register should’ve told me what I was buying. Their condescension and crap attitude will not be ignored...
Read moreLove this newish Crest, reminds me of the Norman location Crest. Definitely refreshing in comparison to the other Crest in town which has become to ghetto. The layout is impressive and the parking lot is large enough to suit holiday rushes. The isles feel wider then the older Crest in town which is nice when operating a wheelchair or cart around other shoppers. The lighting both inside and outside is appreciated and helps give a sense of security with it being lite up so well. My wife and I greatly appreciate the large bakery selection and fresh sushi options. The freezer section is impressively large and there are a lot more sweet treat options that you won't be able to find at Walmart, Homeland or even Target. I've never had any issues trying to shop around stockers late at night, the stockers don't seem to block isles like they do at the other location in town. They have self checkout registers available during the day but close the self checkout a couple hours before midnight. Crest is an amazing local grocery store chain here in central Oklahoma that is open 24 hours a day even...
