I had high hopes for this cute company with seemingly quality service but ultimately left disheartened by our experience. I've used Puppy Paws for a few groomings in addition to a few days of boarding service. My goldendoodle experienced trauma and illness when boarded which can be normal for some dogs/breeds. However, he had stopped eating a day and a half prior to coming home which was not noticed by his caretakers until I pointed out how much left over food there was. There was so much emotional trauma we ended up at the vet for treatment the next day. Additionally, during his last grooming - his skin was cut around his groin area - something that wasn't told to me when I picked him up. Within 24 hours we were at the vet again, paying for medical bills to treat a severe staph infection that took weeks to heal. Obviously mistakes happen and different dogs have different needs, but more careful attention and communication would have gone a long way. I really liked the ladies at the front desk but I personally cannot trust the care of my pet here...

Let me start the review by stating we have two small morkies and the smaller one must have had a bad experience at the groomers in the past as she gets so nervous before they take her for grooming and then she is just messed up for a couple days... we have a neighbor who kept telling us about how wonderful puppy paws was to her little dog so we visited their facility and werr very impressed. We immediately booked them for the next groom. Boomer came out looking like he had been to a party...he was just so happy that you could tell that they had treated him well and also gave him a great groom. The problem child came out next and to our amazement was calm and being cuddled by one of their specialist. It was our best experiences. These people care about their job and the precious animals that they are entrusted with. I seldom give five stars but these people deserve all FIVE STARS.... DOUG AND DIANE PARKER ...
