QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Edmond

Not really sure what happened. I've been coming here once a week or more for the last 2 years. In the last 2 weeks we have experienced a completely different QDoba. The portions are half the size, and when I asked about it I was told it was under new ownership and the new owner didn't care. (staff opinion)

On top of that I was told the portions are what they are and every single ingredient cost extra. You no longer get to ask for extra anything. The person who I spoke to said he was the new owner and major changes have come. I was a little confused. After talking with the "owner" I left a little confused. I get what I get and it is what it is, and I felt like I was the bad guy.

Again I've been coming here once a week and sometimes twice for 2 years and I left feeling like I was the enemy... not the customer. I have no clue what happened but I felt like someone else took ownership and money meant more than taking care of the customer.

And the flavor was different. Did they change something, are they trying to reduce cost? Not near as good as it has always been. The portions were literally half what it use to be. Literally half. On top of that I felt completely unwelcomed by the new owner an I was not a customer but the enemy.

Once a week for 2 years and a completely major difference.

I will try it again but I will give it months to see if things have changed. I'd recommend to stay clear until they realize what...

Used to be a better location for Qdoba. Unfortunately the service quality has gone down. Consistently very skimpy with portion sizes and no longer the super friendly service they once had. Definitely could use some improvement to get back to where they were.

Update 8/20/22. Dropping down to one star. This location is definitely consistent. Consistent with very poor customer service and portions. We enjoy Qdoba, but this location is by far the worst that we have visited and unfortunately is the one closest to our home. Employees are consistently grumpy and not helpful. Today, our order was received cold because they decided to make a bunch of online orders after they had half made all of our bowls. My wife patiently waited for nearly 10 minutes with half made bowls waiting to be finished while the employees worked on more important things than serving the customers in their store. May have to stop coming to this location until they get it turned around. Unfortunately I'm doubtful any improvements will be made until management is changed. This has been a downhill slide...

After always going to the Qdoba at Covell and I-35 in Edmond. We didn't get that same excellent experience as we have in the past.

I ordered the Chicken protein bowl. There was new staff behind the counter. The Hispanic woman who prepared my bowl shorted me on the servings. For example: They have always put 2 scoops of black beans in the bowl. And 2 scoops of chicken as the menu says. The 1st scoop of chicken she made sure the spoon was fully loaded. The second scoop of chicken this woman tapped it on the side of the pan and knocked 1/2 the chicken back into the pan. She jipped my second serving.

The young man who served the rest of the ingredients did the same. Today's servings were nearly 1/2 of the servings they have always given in the past.

And of course they did not offer me a lower price for the smaller, less filling bowl.

Thanks but no thanks. My family and I will be looking for a different Qdoba restaurant to serve our orders...
