I am going to be completely honest about these apartments as we should . When they showed the apartment it seemed super cute and exciting to move in. Seemed quite and I loved that they had a gym and pool. So we move in and we’re all excited and it was a headache . Honestly I don’t feel the apartment was even ready for move in. There was a whole list of things I had to send to the manager to fix. The worse thing is when we moved here this apartment had a roach problem. I was so upset . I did not see one when we we did a walk through before moving in . So a lot of things weren’t done properly and they even tried getting away w giving us an absolute disgusting toilet . They came back and switched only the seat and left the nasty toilet . I was super pissed and finally they gave us a new one . So one of the ladies from the office kinda had a smart attitude “ I got your long list of things to fix “ wow it’s so long . ( that’s what i felt , i can be wrong ) but Um ya if this apartment was up to par trust me I wouldn’t complain. I’m not one to throw a fit but when I’m paying all this money I better get what I’m paying for , right? I will say that the maintenance man was nice and he came and everything was taking care of . It took 2 fugmigations to get rid of the cockroaches and the traps . We don’t have anymore so I’m happy about that. These walls are super thin and we just happen to be across a crazy couple who’s always fighting literally an absuive relationship. They are so so loud it’s annoying . The cool part is that pets are allowed! That was a huge plus!!! The only down side to that is the apartments smell like pee . But honestly not much you can do about that. They mentioned the property was gonna be hosed down w a pressure hose and the dude literally only did a small section by the bbq lol. Oh and there’s a bunch of teenagers probably come in a pack of ten and they invade the pool. Last time I even found the small table in there . I feel the apartment is Mickey moused . It looks nice but everything is super cheap. Our paint literally peeled a few days later . I got over writing them . I wished breaking the lease wasn’t so exspensive cause I would of left by now for sure . And the reason being is they make parking literally 130 for an extra one. Like everyone’s rich. So we have to switch off parkings w my roommate. One day we’re getting home around 9pm from a birthday party and find her car on bricks . The neighbor hood is no good. We made a police report and they said it happens all the time . Even inside the gates . People just go in and break into cars . And outside they steal rims . I think for what we pay and considering it happens so frequently they should of hired a 24:7 security guard . They do have cameras in the parking lot but obviously those do no Justice and they make it sound good like they have security but literally it’s a security patrol car who comes once in a blue moon to drive around it . I don’t even see the point of that ? I seen him 2 times since I lived here . Oh ya and the office literally never picks up the phone. I been calling to report the theft of my car . Even emailed them have yet to hear back from them. The one chick who showed us the apartment was nice . I think her name is Vanessa . But besides that I personally wouldn’t move in here . It’s been a head ache . Actually a nightmare . I read the reviews before Moved in but from my last apartment which was absolutely wonderful had bad reviews too so I thought maybe there’s just needy people ? But NOPE . I literally don’t even feel safe leaving my car out anymore . I asked to at least be accommodated for a parking since it’s been hell but haven’t heard from anyone nor do they answer phones . Really just over This place . I give it one star! The one star goes to the gym, the pool, and Vanessa who showed us the place . Oh the maintenance guy is on his game too. The one who fixed our spot . But save your money folks . Cause it’s expensive and even more expensive to break the lease .... God bless...
Read moreThis place is falling apart. I’ve lived at The Parker for a while and thought things would change when Angelique became manager, but it’s just as bad maybe worse. She even moved her mom into the 3rd building for a while. Her mom had a dog barking nonstop, smoked on the balcony, and was hanging out in the pool restroom smoking pot with her boyfriend. Now she’s back living with the Angelique, still hanging around, and no one does a thing.
In the first building, a lady in apt 4 had papers all over her door saying management was stealing from her kitchen and accusing them of all kinds of crazy things. In the gym building, an older man said his medication was being stolen. Instead of handling things, management pushed the blame onto the cleaning lady and Armando the maintenance worker and then got rid of them and has them part time. Now the property is in really bad conditions because of this it smells horrible it looks horrible. And don’t get me started with the washers they rave about having washers on site they literally never work they either need a whole new sets or need to change companies. Any time you complain about the washers they say sorry it’s not ours we are working with a company and blah blah. It’s been like this for so long many have complained and got letters on there doors basically saying to stop complaining because manger also lives here and she understands the issue, if she understood the issue she would’ve fixed it.
The buildings are full of drama. Police are in and out of the 3rd building, people smoking weed outside all the time, and the manager doesn’t care probably because her own mom does the same thing. Trash areas are disgusting, dog poop everywhere, and the whole place smells like dog urine. For $2,000 a month for a one-bedroom, you’re basically paying to live in a dump.
The office is almost always closed during office hours. The only time you see them care is when the owners are coming by then they scramble to make it look good. This place is not worth the money, the stress, or the smell. Maybe when they get Angelique out as manger and get a professional manger that takes their job serious and cares about these apartments this place will eventually be worth it. Good luck to living in a dump!!!
Edit : I don’t need to prove I live here for my words to be true anyone who actually walks the property or talks to other residents can see exactly what I’m talking about. This isn’t “targeted” and it isn’t “speculation.” Multiple people here have noticed the same issues, and there are plenty of photos floating around that back it up.
The problems here are real trash piling up, pet waste left around, broken laundry machines, and maintenance that takes too long. Just because you say it’s tenants’ responsibility doesn’t change the fact that many don’t follow the rules or clean up after their pets. If this is meant to be a dog-friendly community, management should take responsibility and address it instead of ignoring it.
And let’s be honest residents have also noticed personal situations that add to the issues. Your mother lived in the third building ( or they didn’t live there since you are insinuating im lying). That isn’t speculation, people saw it. Now she’s back at your apartment and still wandering into the third building restroom doing who knows what.
These things aren’t made up. Multiple residents have seen them, and there are plenty of pictures to prove it. Ignoring or dismissing what people witness every day won’t make the...
Read moreTLDR: You really gotta be flexible to live here as management and rules change by the minute and there’s no help from management.
4 different managers within 3 years, all with different policies and ways of handling complaints, concerns and maintenance requests.
The one thing that has been consistent since living here is the complete disdain and abandonment from management. If toxic relationships are for you, you’ll absolutely love it here. They love playing the game of how little work they can do in a day and how bad they can treat their tenants.
They will often not show up despite the leasing office hours being open with zero communication of their absence. Often times showing up hours late or not at all. It’s so bad they removed the hours from the door to try and avoid being held accountable but the website tells the truth.
Any and all emails and phone calls are ignored and promises are made but never kept. Rent with caution. You’ll never know what you’ll get when dealing with these people.
As for amenities, On site laundry works 30% of the time. I guess they take after managements work ethic.
Now for the real day to day stuff.
Every apartment has damaged window screens and new management doesn’t allow bug screens on front doors. Hopefully soon they’ll add all the insects to the lease so they can start paying rent too.
This place is pretty chaotic to live in. Between hearing people screaming and shouting at each other from many apartments away, lots of loud barking dogs and people just walking around at all hours of the night, it’s definitely not a calm environment to experience.
Recent construction and being so close to a school makes it extremely difficult to find parking and navigate the area at times throughout the day.
The location itself is pretty good. It’s near an awesome liquor store and a pretty good In-N-Out. Bowling alley and bars just up the street. A very lively area.
There are other areas that’ll be better for your wallet and your mental health but if the chaos and inconsistency are things you’re okay with, then this place will do.
Again, rent with caution.
Edit: after their response, my response stands. A front of professionalism doesn’t keep people living there.
It’s a problem if they are always having people moving in and moving out. They’re only in the business of getting new people constantly instead of keeping already paying renters in their complex.
I implore you to audit their availability and professionalism and see how much of a lie...
