San Gabriel Valley Airport — Local services in El Monte

Their weekend menudos are the Bomb, they have a small for $9.99; and a large for $12.99. and they have a scenic, very scenic patio with heaters so it's warm; and you can see clear to the San Gabriel mountains and airplanes taking off and landing. Their Stack is great, 2 pancakes, (very fluffy and think) 2 eggs, 2 sausages, (big think ones) and 2 bacon, for $9.99; They had a great off menu item, Chili-Verde pork with a side off omelette. for $17,99;

It's right off of Santa Anita Ave, just about 1 mile north of 10 freeway. It gets very busy and crowded on the weekends, around 10am; so come early; the service is fantastic, very fast, and very friendly. prices are reasonable.

Bring a big appetite, lots of families with kids, and lots of old timers; it's like there weekend event.

We'd fly out on wknds thru Azusa Canyon, over the San Gabriel Mountains and land@the 'Crystal·Aire' Airport on the high desert where we learned together to fly Sail·Planes!(gliders).... What an awesome Rush!, BE·ing towed off the dirt·strip to the altitude we paid for behind the tow·plane then releasing the cable and ReaLLLy feeling FREE, like a bird, w other than a bit of whistling air, nØ sounds or vibrations of an engine! I just moved to Pasadena, right on the north of the 210 freeway. I constantly get disturbed by the aircrafts that fly right above my area every day. If these are aircrafts from your airport, please have them fly over the mountains, and not above the residential area please. UPDATE 03.24.2024 : Please Stop letting aircrafts flying out of your airport circling and low-flying around Pasadena residential neighborhoods! This is extremely disrespectful. Think of all people you guys are disturbing working parents, kids, seniors....Does anyone have any advice on how I can take it to the next level? I am really tired of these circling low flying...
