Visited the store over the weekend and was disappointed in their pricing of certain antiques. There seemed to be no rhyme or reason to the prices. The furniture is beautiful and reasonably priced however, the other antiques such as enamel ware and old tins where outrageous. There was a bundle of three small enamel ware bowls with red trim which you can find all day long for 2-5 dollars a piece depending on condition and they had three bowls in fair condition asking $40. for all three! There was also a cookie tin that wasn't very old at all asking $40. for it also. We had just come from the large antique mall across the street and saw similar for $5. Vintage spice tins for $30....I've purchased several at other places for $3-5 a piece. Yet other items such as old crocks were priced about right. Someone needs to do some research and price those smaller items accordingly or they will just sit there forever. It's a shame really because it just makes you question whether their other items are really at the prices...
ย ย ย Read moreHuge place! Large selection of antique furniture and there are some truly great deals! The rest of the store gave me more Of a vintage flea market vibe, not necessarily bad, just not really my taste, but it was organized and the items seemed to be decent for the most part. There was a booth that had some truly incredible books and I bought a couple. One thing that really turned me off was the 4% charge to pay with a card. This is not uncommon in this industry and I fully understand that there are increasing costs associated with doing business, but there are ways to cover those costs in a way that isnโt so โin your faceโ to the customer. I thought the 4% charge was excessive. Overall, decent place, itโs unique and...
ย ย ย Read moreI have been to this antique store on many occasions. It is huge and has a lot to look at and a lot of things to interest people, but on the flip side nothing is that interesting to actually purchase. Especially because some vendors outrageously price their items including a lot of the furniture. I understand they are old pieces and are interesting to look at, but a lot of them are physically damaged or have broken hinges and knobs or whatnot and are nothing I would ever spend over $100 for which is what they are mostly priced if not multiple hundreds of dollars. I think this may be my last...
