Eleanor Piggly Wiggly — Local services in Eleanor

The local Piggly Wiggly deli was highly recommended for good hot food. So. I decided to try it out. Options were plenty. I decided to go with a 2-piece fried chicken plate for $6.99. (A 3- piece would have been $7.99). The plates come with two sides. I chose green beans and mac&cheese. What I liked was I could choose 2 drumsticks. The mac&cheese was creamy and cheesy, the green beans tasty and cooked with real bacon. I could have eaten there at the deli because they do have a couple of tables there, but decided to take it home. A delicious meal. I intend on trying some of the other dishes soon. P.S. I saw a wooden box and asked about it inside the store. It is called a "Blessing Box" to help those who need to stretch their dollars. What a great way to help...

The only reason I go to this store is because it is right near my house. I only go there is for a quick shop. I dislike this store because of its dirtiness. There are tiles on the floor, by the refrigerated items, that are missing. Its just dirty all over. This store is overpriced, in their defense prices are going up all over. It is in desperate need of a remodel. The meat looks old. I never buy meat from this store. The produce is subpar. The employees are wonderful. Super friendly. I gave two stars because the employees are so great. The cashiers are great. The deli people are wonderful. This place is horrible they don't have anything that is fresh all the produce has black mold on it and is rotten the shelf's even had black mold on it terrible...the meat selection is not very good they didn't have very much of anything what they did have the meat was black grey and green who in there right mind is going to eat that this place should be shut down it is a eyesore. The health department should shut them down.If you all want real good top quality fresh meat go the meat market in Winfield it is the best meat around way better than any grocery store...
