My only complaint is that DQ being a chain you would think certain things would be the same at every DQ especially there signiture cones ..there large cones are like a medium compared to all the other DQ'S around the area like Scott Depot and other Charleston, Huntington suburbs and even right across the river in Galipolois. Because me and my girlfriend do a lot of traveling around the local area and go there alot and live in Leon WV and all the other DQ'S large cones are so much bigger and im talking the cone itself and of course more ice cream for basically the same price which may vary from place to place like 30-40 cents 😂 but my point being is Elenor DQ get with the program and obviously get with the standard large cones ..and the one young girl maybe 20 years old wears glasses always has a smile and makes the best cones ..thank you! The one old lady that always works the window i give 2 thumbs down 👎👎 always grumpy never a smile and makes you feel like shes doing you a favor needs a little attitude adjustment. And she's been there 21 years and still can't make a ice cream cone worth a crap .. 😂 and to tell you the truth theres not much of a difference than there medium compared to the large .. honestly go to Scott Depot you get way more for your money and...
Read moreLong wait, unprofessional staff, poor drive thru location, dirty bathroom, orders wrong/old. I have been to this location a few times, it is the closest ice cream shop within a 30-minute Drive. Oftentimes the one is backed up along the side of the road to get to the ordering sign. If there are more than two cars in the Drive-Thru, expect a 15 to 20-minute wait on average. Once you get to the window, check your order because the ice cream may be melted and your blizzard, cold hot items, and if you ask them to redo it, do not be surprised if you were met with resistance. There seems to be a revolving door on the staff, and if the staff would pay as much attention to the customers, as they do themselves, their phones, or visiting friends, they would be a five star Diamond Resort in Mexico. If you decide to go in, don't be surprised at the conditions of customer areas such as the tables and the bathroom which has smelled like cigarettes more than once. The only reason I come here, is because it is still faster to go through this line, than to go to the next location, but...
Read moreNo cheeseburgers?...Yes, my fiancee and I wanted good old, flame broiled DQ cheeseburgers. Uh uh. Not available there. We settled for chicken sandwiches. They were good though. Food was served hot and freshly cooked through the drive thru window. Friendly lady there to boot. We found a shady spot in the parking lot to eat in the truck. Nice, clean and shady picnic area as well. Good thing. No going indoors to get cooled off while we ate. Hot food, hot day.🥵. We sure pulled in there with cheeseburgers on our minds. They had been discussed on down the road and we eagerly looked forward to eating some. Can't beat Dairy Queen's hamburgers. Oh well. I'm grown. You take what's offered and we were starving. Popular place! I was concerned for the people in cars lined up out in the highway waiting to order. Hot and fresh meal. Limited...
