I was given the wrong prescription, and I took it back with what I was supposed to get (had box from previous). I explained it to Nicholas (just basic casual explanation) and he got angry right away saying if you don't stop with that attitude you're out of here. WHAT! I was talking nice and even called him sir and said thank you trying to show him I didn't have an attitude. He just kept saying it with anger. I don't understand. Should I have whispered it to him? In NO WAY did I get upset while explaining to him. I asked to talk to the mgr. (who took his side and was not pleasant at all) and told her it happened before with the same prescription and the guy made it right. She said my doctor changed it. NO. I've been getting it for a while. When I got my text and call it said my prescription was ready (what I had been getting all along... not what they gave me. (Wish I had saved the voicemail and text to show them!) I was in a good mood, going to church, and decided to stop in and take care of this matter. In NO WAY did I show Nicholas and attitude. I did get upset after the way he was talking to me and then the mgr. not seeing that It was clearly not the same prescription. Nicholas called later and left a voicemail saying that he was sorry and that my prescription was ready. (And text of the wrong prescription, not what I was supposed to get.) So, sorry but here's your wrong prescription again. ???? Nearly every time I go to get my prescriptions there's problem. They text and call you and you get there and it's not ready. ????? One time I went there I told a young lady my name (Mark) and she kept saying Martin. ???? I speak clearly and after about 4 times (4 times!) another person comes over to help her and she tells her fellow associate, he said Martin. I guess I don't know my own name. There's a couple of nice people in the pharmacy but some should not work with the public. Note: I called corporate about the incident so waiting to see what they say. Most of the time nothing is done. It's really sad what customer service is these days. I worked retail for many years, and I never showed an attitude toward a customer. I loved my customers, and they loved me. Won awards, which I never understood, because it was my job. These days employees hate that part of their job (saying hello and helping customers). They ignore the customers like they're not even there. So sad, because without the customers, they don't have a job. (UPDATE) After 2 weeks the DM, Jim, called me (he was a nice guy who seemed to care) and said he was sorry about the incident. He offered me $20 on my rewards card. I declined. I don't care if he offered me $1,000. The truth and what is right (and good customer service) is more important than any amount of money. I declined the offer because all I would want is an apology from Nicholas, but that will...
Read moreMy fiance has been using this pharmacy for over a year now due to its 24 hour status. I would say that is the only thing they have going for them. Except all it means is you will spend 24 hours of multiple days trying to get a prescription with false promise after false promise and a complete lack of accountability as the prescriptions are never filled, at least not when they are needed. If you know you're going to need something, I'd suggest getting it ordered at least a month in advance. It probably won't help. And they'll blame you for dropping the ball. Every, single, time.
She recently had to switch pharmacies because of an insurance change. And the new pharmacy spent multiple days trying to get her prescriptions transferred with no success. Ultimately forcing us to go to this Walgreens in person to get the ball rolling. Which, my god, I had a root canal done recently and it felt good in comparison to dealing with this Walgreens. And due to their incompetence delaying a refill, she requested an emergency few day supply of a drug she depends on from this Walgreens and they said it could be picked up later that day. Fast forward one full day and it was not ready. Not only that, but the next pharmacist refused to give her the emergency refill she was promised. These actions, or lack there of, are borderline criminal. People's health and safety are in the hands of these pharmacists and they couldnt give one single sh!t. I hope they don't sleep well at night. That may be harsh, but these problems are not one offs. We've given them the benefit of the doubt time and time again. Being nice after witnessing them get yelled at by other infuriated patrons. But the time for forgiveness and kindness is long since passed. Avoid this Walgreens if at all possible.
I wouldn't be surprised if their complete lack of competence is due to them using half their pills on themselves. Might explain why they can never fill any orders.
If there are any, respectable and honest pharmacists reading this, open up a 24 hour pharmacy across the street. Simply do your job, and this Walgreens will go out of business in no time. Any other person doing their job as poorly as the pharmacists at this location would frankly be out of a job. This pharmacy should not be...
Read moreLast month I had a script sent in and we called ahead of time to make sure it was in stock. I was told yes. Then I went to pickup and was told it wasn't ready but I was told it would be ready in 20 mins. Got there and was told it would be ready in 40 mins. Came back and was told 10 more mins then I was told they didn't have in stock???? But yet we called and checked because my dr was going out of town. So then I had to wait for them to get back in stock and that I had to wait because my dr was out of town and the script was not allowed to be sent any other way and or to another location. Then today I get a text saying scripts are ready I go to pickup to tell me it's not ready and won't be til tomorrow. DONT USE THIS PHARMACY ALWAYS SOMETHING. Staff is not nice as well. I was being nice and the front pharmacy tech was just rude and the pharmacist doesn't care I was trying to tell him what the issues are but he just treated me like I'm a pill popping junkie saying you should have enough for 2 days?? Ok that is not the issue here. The issue is I dont want to be told it will is ready and its not. I dont want to keep making 3 trips to grab my scripts. Every month its the same thing. I have a busy life i work 2 jobs and dont want to have to keep coming back 3 times a day. If they would have said it will be ready tomorrow then i would have just came tomorrow. !!! I didn't appreciate the care. None at all. They need a better staff and get their stuff together. You guys need to do better. I wasn't the only one upset about this issue 2 people in line were dealing with...
