La Michoacana Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Elgin

I come to this location often and the same employee always gives me a hard time when trying to order the Mangoneada Sencilla she used to claim they did not have it on this location. I came in today and the Menu Screens were upgraded and try to order a Mangoneada sencilla , the same employee was helping me, she once again rejected my order and when I pointed out it was on the menu she then replied that making it is too messy and it's a small portion. I let her know I am aware of the portion and if she can please make it. Not sure if she's saying this to forcefully have the customers up charge or what it may be but her customer service needs to be addressed, I see alot of other customers...

I went to this establishment 5 mins before closing time, the doors were locked. While outside I called to see if they could make two corns. A girl answer the phone and hang up the phone instead of just saying no we closed up early. I patronize LA Michoacana alot at other locations. I called back and the same individual answered and I informed her that I was there before closing time when I called the 1st time and hanging up on customers isn't good CUSTOMER SERVICE. This La michoacana have lost my business and this was the 2nd time I was trying this location out,...

This location has the best elotes, it’s my go to place! I love the people who works there, but unfortunately today I asked for 2 elotes and the guy prepared only one, and when I asked for the missing one, he had an attitude and when I got home we realized that he didn’t prepare the elote en vaso,there was only elote with just a little bit of mayonnaise on top. I even tipped and I’m kind of disappointed :(
