This place is a true gem! Run by two incredibly sweet people who love what they do. The quality is incredible, selection is vast, and pricing is very fair. I took my 5 year old son in for the first time today, and it was a memory I'll treasure forever. He got to watch Wendy Spence make the candy from a large window they have into her kitchen area. She waved at him, which made his day. Then she came out to ask if he could have a freshly made chocolate pretzel. It was still melty, and he got to eat it while I gave my order. I'm sitting in the parking lot now to write this, and Mr. Spence came out to make sure I was ok since we were sitting here a while. Heart of gold! Spence Candies is by far the best. Not only for the quality of the chocolate, but for the quality of the people that run it all.

I’ve never been disappointed by the product (huge recommendations for any of the peanutbutter treats or sea salt caramels, but seriously you can’t go wrong). Every piece is consistent and delicious.

My favorite part though, is the interaction and conversation with the gentleman who fills each box with care. He always serves with a smile. He doesn’t rush you. He’s a delight.

Spence is a must for any special occasion or just for fun! There’s never a wrong time...

Absolutely phenomenal. I stopped here today for the first time and was blown away not only by the sheer collection of absolutely delicious chocolates, but the incredible care I received personally as well.

I bought 2 pounds of dark chocolate and a box of truffles for my fiance and thoroughly enjoyed both the experience and discussion with the owner(s). Would travel across the county and/or state lines to give business to these folks.
