April 16th, 2025, around 1:30 PM – I walked into ACE Hardware to purchase a door swing. The cashier couldn’t locate the item, so I went to the back desk for assistance. I approached a lady there and asked for help, but she had no intention of assisting me. Instead, she was extremely rude.

Rather than politely asking, “How can I help you?”—as I’ve experienced from ACE employees in the past—she abruptly demanded to know what I needed, with no professionalism or courtesy.

This kind of customer service is exactly why I stopped shopping at ACE before. Nowadays, with how easy and convenient stores like Lowe’s and Amazon make the shopping experience, it’s hard to justify returning to a place where customers are treated...

Lackluster and misinformed staff have left me questioning whether this business knows how to help their customers. For example, I was in need of 400 ft of 10ga 600v insulated electrical wire with so or better rating, was told they had it in stock, however after making an hour long trip to collect was presented with a product that wasn't even close to the specs I required, and upon speaking to another employee was encouraged to use other business because they don't carry what I need. Had I managed to recieve this information from the beginning I wouldn't have lost our most valuable...

Very poor....will not shop here again. We are seniors and I had recent hospital stay. Upon entering store I asked at front desk if they could send someone to get what we needed. Very rude comeback with what we wanted....I told them. Was told what area it was in....no one ever even bothered to help us. My husband has Parkinson's and uses a walker....he did go get it himself but I almost didn't get it....handicap discrimination at this store. Won't be back to any of the Ace in our vacinity...all owned by...
