Flix On 6 — Local services in Elk City

Flix on 6 has been my family's theater since I was a little kid. I truly love this theater but due to recurrent problems I may not come back. I hope these issues can be addressed by the owners or management. Let me start off by saying this theater has a lot of great qualities: the affordable ticket prices (that compete with prices in the city), the clean restrooms, and especially the staff. This staff are very receptive with problems and have great customer service. But the last few times my family has come in it has been a rough movie experience. The biggest issue that has affected watching a movie the most is the kids that are allowed in the theaters. I have seen over the past couple of times children running in and out of the theater, playing on their phones (making awful glares on the screen) and throwing popcorn and candy, which I know must be a pain to clean up. I know the staff aren't babysitters and probably aren't allowed to kick a whole theater of kids out, but there needs to be some sort of regulation with these kids. I don't know if the owners need to step in but it honestly needs to stop. I'm not trying to tell anyone how to run a business but I know of some owners in the city with this problem and they had to revert to not letting kids in the late night show times without a paying adult. I hate to leave such a long review. I just want a quiet place to go and watch a movie with my family without having to drive 2 hours...

It is a standard theatre with 3D and digital screens with stadium seating. It is very clean with a polite staff and posters on sale at the concessions stand.

You will have a positive movie going experience for a theatre of its size. My only complaint is there are no usher checks during the movie. So people exploit talking or keeping a phone out.

Wish they was open later or had later showings. I feel like I'm living in the twilight zone in this small town lol. Can't even catch a movie past 7pm? SMH y'all do realize Adults like movies as well, and some don't even get off work till 7pm lol.
