China Super Buffet — Restaurant in Elk City

Interesting to say the least… food temperature was questionable and there was a dirty microwave sitting amongst the buffet lines. Never seen that at a restaurant before. It was generally not the cleanest. I didn’t want my baby touching anything or sitting in their high chair. The bathroom smelled rotten and there was mold everywhere. I’d hate to see what the kitchen looks like. The breaded chicken options were all sitting in tubs of runny liquid so the breading was mushy. The General Tso had good flavor though. Our waitress did not greet us at the door, but instead motioned us to a booth. She charged us for (gross) food left on one of the plates, and was rude at checkout. After reading reviews I was pretty worried about this place. I was going with a group and this is where they picked. It's definitely not new but the tables were clean and so was the buffet area. One review mentioned the rice cooker lid had never been cleaned, it looked more like it was worn from years of use to me. The rice was fine. The food was typical of Chinese buffets. Nothing to write home about but good enough to eat. Not a lot of vegetarian options, there were steamed veg, green beans, and potatoes. There may have been others but I didn't see them. My husband tried the (fried)spring rolls and said he thought it looked like they were just filled with veg but they werent labeled as such. My daughter and 2 friends ate their and were not treated good at all. 1st thing they couldn't get the check for over 10min. When they got it the total was $28 1 person paid $20 for2 people and my daughter gave the lady a $20. The lady only gave her$5 back. My daughter went up and asked her for the rest of her money and she gave her another $5 back. Then my daughter went to leave and the lady blocked the door and would not let her out. She told my daughter she had to tip her more. My daughter tried to get out but could not so she gave her $3 more than she was aloud to leave.

The only reason my daughter went to eat their was because she was with her highschool band. She is only 15 and not someone that is good with this kind of thing. I would NEVER suggest that you go eat here. If this is how they treat...
