I was looking for a certified LG repair shop to diagnose and repair a monitor and this was the place with the best reviews in the Chicagoland area that could repair more than TVâs and appliances. The reviews hold up.
The owner, Dimitri, is a gentle giant of an older gentleman with a small office/workshop filled with tvâs and screens for repair. He knows his stuff and in my encounters with him, he was honest and transparent. My monitor had a specialty part that LG no longer sells, and Dimitri called me to let me know that even if he could get the part that it wouldnât be cost effective to repair. He had even done quick check on how a secondhand replacement monitor would cost less than a repair along with other alternatives.
Some things to note, Dimitri does a lot of work off site, so his D&G address isnât a storefront; itâs a workshop. So youâll want to call ahead and confirm a time to meet if you intend to go to him. Second, there is at least one other review noting that his shop was impossible to find⌠and they were right. Up until a few days ago, the address on google was incorrect, but as of this review, you can trust the updated address. His shop is in a small office building that has signs at the entrance with the shop name and office number so you canât get lost.

I kept trying to tell Dimitri that nothing or no one hit my screen but he was being dismissive, ignored me and just kept saying that itâs physically damaged so nothing can be done. He smudged my screen pretty roughly and didnât even have the courtesy to clean the fingerprints he made. Didnât even apologize for the inconvenience, just said bye and left. And he was giving me attitude before by telling me to make sure I pick up my phone since I missed his phone call, which is kind of hard to do while Iâm working.    Read moreI had D&G designated as the company to fix my LG tv which was under warranty. I had no choice on who would fix it, but I sure am glad D&G was the company to do it. Their communication was quick, and the tech was flexible in his hours to come to my house. He diagnosed the problem very quickly and live-streamed it to LG so they could order parts right away. Within a week the 75â screen came in and the next day the tech came to replace it. I had to help him carry it in and to place it down on my table - but it was not something one person could have done. I was happy to help and learn.
