Went here for the first time ever, this past afternoon (Saturday 6/28/2025), after having an awesome lunch next door at South Indian restaurant, Madurai Kitchen (they're -unfortunately-closing down their Arlington Heights restaurant on 6/28, and opening up a bigger restaurant in Glenview this coming August)! Anyway, I've been dying to try Boba Bliss Town, because I love Boba Tea (I usually go to Umbrella Tea House in Schaumburg), but this place is only 10 minutes from home and has a great selection of teas! I had the Dragonfruit Tea with Green Tea in it along with boba, mango popping boba, and lychee jellies! It was perfectly cold, fresh, and flavorful - perfect for the 90 degree weather today! What made this experience even more memorably excellent was the wonderfully pretty, personable and upbeat/energetic young lady who served me - Merissa! She immediately and correctly guessed I was Filipino (which she is too)! We talked for hours! She was very knowledgeable and efficient when it came to taking care of my order, telling me what I could accessorize my tea with, and the other customer's order, too! I also dug the colorful, hip, and chill vibe of the place, with the comfortable table seating and the very cool, relaxing, downtempo R&B jazz tunes playing overhead. I sat at one of the tables in the back next to an interesting bubbly waterfall vertical floor lamp, then I moved to one of the front window side seats where I gabbed with my special new country cousin friend, Merissa! I will definitely be back and will recommend this place to all my friends...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was one of the only boba shops open later in the day, so i appreciate the extra hours of service compared to other places. We were going to casually stop by but was greeted by a car meet lol and was packed, had to park by the houses in the back. We didnāt get bothered by this at all since we enjoy them anyway, so it was a pleasant surprise. But if youāre not into that, then Iād just be aware they do these pretty often. Iām glad to see young adults run their business, but I did see a lot of people walking in and out of the kitchen. I donāt get bothered by that but maybe some customers may find that a little worrisome. I saw reviews about great service, but I didnāt really have that experience. I donāt expect the highest energy or a big smile but I did feel a little awkward and not welcomed, but thatās okay. We ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup and it was nothing special taste wise, I did enjoy the tea refresher I believe. I couldnāt hear what he was asking so I just said get me whatever flavor and tapioca he thinks would be good and he chose right. Might give this place another shot. Thank you and congrats on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a really disappointing experience here. I actually drove 40 minutes to try this place because my relative recommended it, but when I went to order, the worker at the register gave me strange looks and kept rolling her eyes, which made me feel very unwelcome. I didnāt catch her name, but she had her hair in a bun, wore gold jewelry, and had a tanner complexion. The attitude completely ruined the visit for me, and I donāt plan on coming back. Itās really sad that a place would hire someone with such poor customer service, because it reflects badly on the...
