Worst service and rude employees! I had my car key made there on 2018, it was a good and great the 1st time. My Second experience was not that great at all.I called them to ask about a new key on my car, a employee who picked up the phone was really rude and loud with me right away. He was upset bcz I was questioning a high price of 130$ dollars for 1 key vrs a Previously total price of 85$. The only reason I went there in the first place was because I the reviews were great. The owner had Previously told me to come back for the second key and that he’ll give me a better deal on the second key. But I’m not sure I’ll go back there after this bad experience with this employee. I will make sure that I’ll tell the people i know about the rude employees they have working there. I had told the guy that I’ve simply was calling to ask you for a price because they originally had told me to come back there and they’ll give me a better deal the second time! You can’t treat your customers disrespectfully, I was never loud or rude to the person. I was just simply trying to explain...

Price was a bit higher than other nearby places. But also the man who answered was sort of pushy. I understand wanting to quickly figure out the issue so you can resolve it and send your customer on their way. But you're only gonna waste more time if you're interrupting and talking over them. I found it a bit annoying that I couldn't clearly talk about my issue, but other than that I didn't really care. But other people will definitely take offense to that attitude, in fact looking at the lower reviews, it seems like many already have. Again, I care about the prices and convenience, not about the tone of voice of whoever I'm contracting. But it's surprising to see a place with already higher than average prices also have slightly below average...

I called Active Lock and Key after we didn’t hear back from Anderson Lock about installing a smart lock on our front door. We had an appointment schedule the next day and they were upfront about the cost to look at our current hardware and cost to install. Mark came out and inspected what we have and was able to install the new lock. He was very knowledgeable with Schlage products and even the smart lock we got. As he worked, he kept telling us what he was doing so we were informed. He had no problems with the installation and was even kind enough to fix the hinges on the front door because it was catching every time we close it and even told us what we need to do in the future if the problem returns. We will definitely use their services again...
