Yvonne, wouldn't you agree that first impressions last forever? My family and I tried patronizing your place on Sunday. There were at least 5 empty tables, some people waiting and no one at your check in podium. When your hostess finally returned to her post, while she saw me standing right in front of her, she did not greet or say a word to me. I asked her for a table for 3 and she just looked at me with a dumbfounded blank stare. I said it 3 times then she said it would be an hour wait. I was amazed that there would an hour wait when there weren't that many people waiting and so many empty tables. She looked ate and said "well there's a lot of people ahead of you!!" I did not, by any means, expect to be seated immediately, but being a NEW restaurant, certainly did NOT expect you to have hired such a rude hostess!!! While I understand that this is all new to you, it is your responsibility to train your employees do their job efficiently and to provide good customer service. It was our 2nd time going to your place and will most definitely be our last! The first time, we had the same issue; bunch of empty tables while people are waiting. When we were finally seated, we had to wait 7 minutes before we asked you if someone could get us drinks and take our order. The waitresses looked lost and were moving as fast as a sloth! When the food came, most people would not know this, but the Shanghai dumplings should have soup in it and a few of them came flat and dry! While it was nice of you to comp us a dish of pot stickers, it's simply not worth the trouble to deal with your "gate keeper" and your lacking employees. Your customer service...
Read moreNot sure if stagecoach has changed hands but the lunch that we had the other day was not good. I ordered a BLT with potato salad and what I had did not resemble potato salad not sure why it had big chunks of potatoes and some sort of dressing on it which just tasted not like any potato salad I've ever had didn't seem as if the potatoes were cooked enough. My sister-in-law ordered an omelet ask not to have spinach which it did come with the spinach and she said that it didn't taste very good and her potatoes which were on the side were also not cooked so she had to take them home and cook them. The waitress was pleasant if not a little slow and it was decorated quite festively it seemed reasonably clean but it's not the stagecoach that I remembered. My brother had a grilled cheese sandwich and the soup of the day which I believe was minestrone he made no complaints about that so I guess it was okay not sure what has happened or changed at stagecoach but none of the same people are there and I don't know who is cooking in the back but they need to Bone up on most definitely making sure that the food is cooked through. I'm sorry to give such a terrible review I generally try not to do this but I think they need to review their situation. I doubt that I will be lunching there anytime...
Read moreMany interesting stores in close proximity, the closest thing elk Grove has to a mall and many of my favorite hangouts growing up were/are located here. There are TWO Starbucks in this one shopping center (one is inside Target), post office, craft store, two trendy boutiques, baby store, hardware store, Verizon, chillis mcdonalds, & del taco are mainstaples. You can expect to find these places while other retailers and restaurants have a high turnover rate. One reason is the god awful, poorly planned, scary to navigate parking lot... Just so you know, it is impossible to get from the post office to Target without exiting the shopping center back onto Bruceville flipping around to turn left into the correct entrance. Trust me there is only one way in and out of post office lot. Drive SLOW or get hit. There's a few schools nearby so often a lot of foot traffic. It's only hard to find parking near...
