Casselman Market — Local services in Elk Lick Township

Casselmans market is my favorite Grocery Store. I go there whenever I need to shop as long as it’s not Sunday cause they’re not open on Sundays. And they don’t stay open very late I believe 8 PM maybe 9 PM so I try to always do my shopping between Monday through Friday by 6 PM because I don’t like going anywhere else I love going there. They’re very friendly. When you walk in the door, they say hello how are you? There’s always somebody there that greet you. They have great meats, great produce, and excellent prices. Two bonuses are you don’t pay taxes on any food items and they have an Amazon store that sells very discounted Amazon products. Mondays everything in the bins are $3, Tuesdays everything in the bins are $1 , I think Wednesdays is $.50, you get the picture. they just recently remodeled and upgraded so they don’t only have bins now they have other stuff out on the floor that is majorly discounted. They have weed eaters, air mattresses, air fryers, grills, patio furniture, indoor furniture, baby items, baby furniture, I mean you name it, they probably have it. I believe they get new items weekly. So it’s forever changing especially the items in the bins. I’ve gotten some really good items from there like skincare and makeup that’s trending on TikTok right now, I got for $1-$3. So anyways enough about that as you could see I love Casselmans Market and I love the Grantsville shopping center in General. It’s a great little place. Has everything you need there’s even a Walgreens if you need your prescriptions and they even have a ATM outside if you need to grab some money. They have a hardware store they have Napa and they have a little restaurant you can go in or carry out and I believe they deliver. It’s called big dog deli. They’re also good have awesome food. Fantastic locally-owned grocery store - a much needed addition to Grantsville.

They have lots of familiar brands you find in most grocery stores, as well as some locally made products like jams and honey and other unique items.

There is a nice selection of all the standard grocery store items as well as some bulk items. They have a great deli and hotbar with some fantastic looking rotisserie chicken.

The atmosphere is bright and has lots of nice country-style decorations. The staff is friendly too. They have a smaller selection of the speciality/international items than some of the bigger chains, but that's understandable given it's size....

I was really impressed with this market! It was refreshing to see unique products that you can’t get at traditional stores. There were premade salads with fresh ingredients that were so beautiful and hard to resist.. I asked the deli dept to slice my tomatoes as I was traveling 🍅 so I could make tomato sandwiches that day and they gladly accommodated my request and put them in a great resealable container. With my loaf of bread, a small container of Dukes mayo, and these awesome sliced tomatoes I made my brother’s day with this surprise lunch of tomato sandwiches and the fixin’s - great store!
