IHOP — Restaurant in Contiguous United States

I am giving this one star. Only because Negative ten stars is not an option. I am in my 60's and have eaten at IHOP's most of my life. But I have never (before now) tried to eat at one as truly sub-par as the Grantsville Md one. We tried Twice in a month hoping the first failure was a fluke. Sadly it was not. First time we were served cold food and had to go elseware to eat. This time we waited for an hour. Only to get cold food. There was about 6 to 8 other tables with customers setting when we finally left. ONE table had finally gotten served (it was stacks of pancakes only) Literally nobody had been served the entire hour. And we still waited horribly long to be given cold meals. The staff at this locaion desperately needs a total purge of the employees. The only plus side. Was discovering G.I. Dayroom Coffee Shop in Myersdale afterwards to eat at. I Highly reccomend. And will be back...

Called in order for pickup as we were traveling. Ordered a 2x2x2....started to give order of eggs, meat and when I asked what kind of syrup came with the pancakes, was told that pancakes didn't come with this....🤔🙄.... She said, "I can add the pancakes" I said, ok whatever....and I also want an extra order of just bacon. When we got there I went to the hostess and let her know we had an online order but wanted to clarify whether pancakes do indeed come with a 2 x 2 x 2. She assured me that they did and said she would check the order to make sure the pancakes were not added on as an extra. She came back and said she make sure the order was correct but when we are order arrived, they had charged us for extra bacon but we did not get an extra order of bacon. Not the biggest problem of 2019 but honestly whoever's answering the phone taking orders really ought to be familiar...

Food was fine that wasn’t the problem at all, the people who work here are very young and don’t have great customer service. Man who sat us wasn’t very friendly he seemed like he’d rather be somewhere else, no front or smile at all. Sat next to two tables that had food on it, we stayed for probably 50 mins, table was never cleaned by the time we left. Sounded like workers were just talking and laughing in the kitchen for most the time. To make it worse on our way out they were ‘cleaning’—3 workers were just chatting it up not working and standing in front of the door way. They moved for us and when we looked back they walked away and left their vacuum completely unattended STILL in the way of the doors! Please higher some older more experienced hosts/workers because these Teens don’t wanna do their job...
