Sherburne County Fairgrounds — Local services in Elk River

My husband I went to the Smoke and Show 2022 truck and tractor pulls last weekend. A good show, lotsa locals got an opportunity to challenge the sled. Though not a sanctioned NTPA event, it was fun. Extremely hot and humid, slight breeze. Plenty of food and beverages for all. Good attendance and crowd participation! It's held at the Sherburne Cty Fairgrounds. Plenty of parking, some handicapped. The Sherburne County fair was wonderful! Everything was nicely spread out! The best part was they have a nursing building!!! Inside has two changing tables and 3 chairs/rockers so we can breastfeed in comfort! It is air-conditioned! Thank you to whoever thought of this!!! Drove up to see the demolition derby with the family. Was annoyed to have to pay two gate fees. One fee to get into the fair grounds and one to get into to see the derby. The fair it’s self was very low budget and not worth the minimal entry fee. This was evident by the large void of people.
