The Kellner Store — Local services in Ellington

We visited the store to inquire about blinds for our triple pane sliding door (the center panel slides) and blinds for the three large windows in our breakfast nook. We looked at all of the samples and had a good idea of what we wanted. We booked an appointment for Hans to come measure and give us a quote. When he came to our house, Hans gave us suggestions as to a better oroduct for our needs. The blinds I originally wanted for the slider in the family room was very high end. When Hans saw all of the toys in my family room and learned I watch my five grandchildren regularly he suggested a more durable, easier to clean blind (also less expensive than the one I thought I wanted). Hans also pointed out several considerations regarding design and color. He was super helpful!! We made all of our decisions that day and signed the contract. Four weeks later, Hans came to install them. It took an afternoon. He did a great job. They look fantastic! Also they have had a noticeable positive impact on heating and cooling. And of course, no more light glaring in my face. Overall it was an excellent experience. From start to finish, Kellner 's deserves a 5-star rating. During my wife's initial visit to their beautiful showroom, she was met by the extremely friendly and helpful staff. From there, Hans came to measure our windows the very next day (and was even a few minutes early for our appointment -something that is typically unheard of.) He, also, was friendly, professional and helped us select the blinds that would serve us best. All 13 blinds came in within the projected 3-week projection and were installed the day after they called to inform us. Again, Hans was on time, installation was complete within about 2 hours and we absolutely LOVE them. We are planning to order blinds for the remaining 10 windows next year. We have just recently replaced our original 20 year old wooden kitchen shutters with new models from the Kellner Store. I can definitively recommend Hans & team for their assistance in selecting the new shutters at the store, their communication throughout the process, timeliness and most impressively, the installation. Hans' installation experience shows in the execution as no windows are exactly square and the shutters must be adjusted to compensate, something we suffered with in the operation of shutters we inherited with our home.
