
I in rolled my Daughter in the summer camp program this summer. ( 2023 )On the 1st day they asked that I don’t bring her back. She has Down syndrome and is pretty high functioning maybe the equivalent to a 6 year old child. But they didn’t give a chance to get to know her . Their excuse was we don’t have qualified staff to deal with your special needs child . Ruin this kid’s whole summer.
If they could not care for my daughter then they have no business taking care of any one else’s child there is absolutely no difference She’s a bit slower than the average kid because she has down syndrome but no difference. The 2nd concern was they were scared of her by the lake . This means the kids are all running around with no kind of structure . Specifically, Barbara made us feel so welcome and provided us with a tour of the facilities.
