Knowlton Park — Attraction in Ellsworth

Fun playground for the kids. Multi aged playsets and swings. Something for nearly anyone. Plus they have a splash pad during summer for quick cool downs. There are several areas to picnic, plus they have a covered picnic area. Also, during summer months they have events at night that show "big screen" movies under the stars that are all family friendly. Great place to go....

Beautiful park, convenient location...but Winter is a hazard time! The swings had puddles turned to ice under them (should be filled in), and the metal bridge was solid ice...my son and niece both slipped and fell on it. I wish they would replace these with the new playground materials available, but overall, it's a clean, quaint little spot for an energy release...

This is a great park for all ages! There's a small water park for children to cool down in the hot sun. The picnicking area is very nice with a pergola. The playground has many areas of interest for all ages. Younger children have their own area for safety from the older energetic children. There's an ice cream shop within walking distance offering...
