Hemptations — Local services in Elmwood Place

Well my partner went there for me. I suffer with severe chronic pain and thanks to the newer government rulings, my Dr of 14 years is lowering my pain meds by ¾ . More on that later.

So, I thought I’d give CBD oil a try before I jump out my window – which is bad idea since I’m on 1st floor 😉

He said they were so nice. Then I had to call them to find out my dosage. The woman who answered the phone could NOT have been any nicer! We talked for a few minutes and the background was quiet. As we talked, the background became noisier – she had customers coming in I assume – well she NEVER made me feel rushed, she was never short with me. I deal with the public and people who are in customer service – unfortunately…people are just not “nice” and personable any more ☹ SHE WAS!

NOT FOR A MINUTE did I feel like I was bothering her, nor did I feel like “hey, we got your money, bye bye now” … AND LISTEN TO THIS!!! She suggested Kratom – anddddd here is the amazing part…instead of recommending the $80 amount – she said since I was new to it and didn’t know how well it would work for me – she said “Just get the $18 supply and if you like it”

I LOVED HER! I highly recommend this place. And here is what she didn’t know – I work with a lot of people who are also in chronic pain – I’ll be suggesting the heck out of Hemptations whether this works for me or not – because alternative methods don’t work for everyone – but a lot of people I’ve talked to swear by CBD. And you know what? AT LEAST I’ll be in control of it and not a pharmacy, doctor or government … who probably goes out jogging every morning before hitting capital hill ☹ When I LITERALLY DREAD getting up off the couch anymore to go to the bathroom because of the pain.

Listen, I LOVE LIVING IN THE U.S. I would have NEVER spoke ill of our government 2 years ago.

I’m no spring chicken – I’m considered a senior citizen. I was raised to respect our government and again I still do – but I don’t like that in the late 90’s the government said we got to do something about all these people in chronic pain and that’s when Pain Management Clinics popped up everywhere – thank God they did … because it kept me out of pain until … – that same government is closing these places down and putting some 80 morphine rule on opioids.

I realy am sorry for the rant about this when I am here just to post a tribute.

But I am mad. I don’t get mad often, ask my 5 grandchildren, 4 children and husband - that 6 months ago when I was allowed to take my pain medication..I could bake cookies & muffins for them. That’s what I do when I “get high” ☹

I can’t do these things now - because the few moments of pain relief I have – I need to work, clean my house, do laundry and take care of my hubby who also a senior citizen HAS to work 60 hours a week because I can’t work full time anymore. Anyone else in this situation? Cause I believe God puts us thru negative events for a reason – maybe my big Italian mouth is supposed to get upset and speak out on behalf of others in chronic pain who can’t even sit at a computer or do a you tube video to make a change ☹ Leave a comment on Hemptations or if you too are in chronic pain below. Again – I apologize for those who just wanted to hear my two cents on Hemptations. I’ll blame my bluster on being old, in pain and a place to talk 😉 God bless – and hope you give Hemptations a try. Can't afford to fix their phone? Haven't been able to call them in years and they always just gaslight you saying they are looking into it.
