Update: We recieved an email explaining the delay in response. They kindly refunded us the cost if the bouquet and offered to replace it. THAT IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! We were more than impressed with how they handled this situation which is why I have changed our review stars. Thank you!

My husband called and asked if they could do an $80 bouquet for Mother's Day. They told him yes they could. They told him they were low on stock but that they could make it happen . When he picked up the bouquet and brought it home it was clear that there were not even $80 worth of flowers in the bouquet. It was the size of bouquet that you can pick up at Giant Eagle. There was one rose in it and they still charged him $80 for it. My husband called as soon as he got home to request for them to call him back for a refund or partial refund because what he got was not an $80 bouquet. It has been almost a week and he has not received a phone call back. If you are low on stock and are unable to fulfill an order people should be given partial refunds or be told that their order cannot be completed. It is unethical to give somebody substantially less than what they pay for. They could have easily handed him the bouquet and said sorry we weren't able to create an $80 bouquet we're giving you a refund for half of it. This was our first time using this florist due to high reviews and we are completely disappointed in their treatment of their customers. I don't know how somebody can think it's okay to give a tiny bouquet with flowers you can get at Giant Eagle and one rose, charge somebody $80 for it, and then ignore the customer's request for a phone call back about their displeasure...

What I enjoyed about working with Amy from Botamer was she gave ideas and recommendations based on the inspiration photos I showed her. I also liked that the suggestions she made were always conscientious of our budget. Connie and the wonderful folks at Botamer Florist including the designer Amy and the delivery driver Gina made my niece and sister's birthdays such a special day. We had ordered from a more local florist and they were unable to fulfill the order because of the restrictions that the Covid scare has brought to us. The other florist (whom I won't name) was awesome and provided me with the number for Botamer. When I called Connie she couldn't have been nicer. We decided on some floral arrangements and they were delivered the next day as she promised. My niece (who turned 8) and my sister were so happy. I try to use local business whenever I can and Botamer is a prime example of a business that is there for the community. Please consider them when purchasing floral arrangements...
