Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Elyria

I waited to give a review. I've been to this dairy queen 3 times now. Spread out months in between. Due to the terrible service I recieved. The first time I went, I was told I could not get two items in the same box as the kids meal...even though I was willing to pay extra for this. This incident was in may of 2020. Second incident. August 2020. I went to dairy queen hoping it would better and different. It was not. I was treated disrespectfully, again. I bought a dairy queen cake and waited patiently to get writing on it. I was willing to pay the price for the writing and the 25 dollar ice cream cake itself. The person at the register told me I could not get the writing I wanted. I still bought the cake said thanks anyway and walked out. This third time and last time was today. The 2nd of january 2021. I ordered two meals for my daughters. And 1 for myself. Regular meals. No kids because of the incident I had prior. I order 2 6 dollar 3 piece chicken strip meal. A hamburger with no cheese no toppings on it and a small fry. And a small sunday with no topping. The 6 dollar meals come with 3 strips, fries, a drink, and a small sundae. Well, we walked away with 2 small sundays 3 drinks 6 strips a burger and 3 fries. The problem was the lady ordering my food. Entered my 6 dollar meal as a 4.41 chicken strip box. 1.59 medium pepsi. And no Ice cream. Clearly i ordered the meal with ice cream. I told the male at the drive thru window. He shut the window. Then 5 minutes later opened it and said can i help you mam. I just left. Everytime I go here. I have terrible experiences. I just got back home now. And although we ordered ketchup and ranch we only got ranch. This is very frustrating. It seems like there is nothing but children that work here. Maybe the dairy queen needs to consider hiring people with good customer service skills. There are a ton of Americans...

Dairy Queen in Elryia, Ohio is owned by the same in Avon Lake, Ohio. I would recommend everyone if you like Dairy Queen go to the Avon Lake store. As a senior citizen I went in ordered food fries and blizzard, prices high food and drink shrunk for 8.00 Second, sat on a place where I was away from others. Only 5 people total. Young people moved across from other side and moved by me, kept staring made me feel uncomfortable. They had no food. Then they got up and went back across the restaurant. I let the Young lady washing tables I felt uncomfortable. The young people sitting there asked to clean their table. They continue to laugh and stare over and I finally said hello and laugh back. The girl cleaning the table went to them and told them what I had said. I went up and told her why did you say something to escalate the situation. Went to the counter let the manager know. She spoke to the two young people who was apparently with an adult. Why were they going from place to place sitting? The manager never came back to talk to me. Young people have no respect for senior. I did call the Avon Lake store explain everything about what occurred. She said she was the manager and let the store owner know! Took down my information and might receive a call. Highly doubt it. People are becoming more uncomfortable and aware because of...

I normally would be given them a 5 star but about a month ago took my 5 grandkids who were excited to go and my daughter. Ordered food to go. My daughter and myself commented after we left how nice the blonde was that waited on us. We get home and there are 3 chicken tenders missing in the bag. So I call, the girl that answered had the sound in her voice like she was being bothered so I proceed to tell her can I talk to the blonde who waited on us. In the background I could hear someone who sounded irritated that I was calling to state that I was missing something in my 60 dollar order. Come to find out it was the blonde that we had just complimented. She proceeds to get on the phone basically saying I'm lying because she packed the food in the bag while being rude. I tell her why in the world would I call about 3 chicken tenders only. After all I ordered. I was just calling to let them know just to be careful to make sure ppl have all they ordered. I didn't ask for a replacement or any refund. She said I'll mark your name in the book but I know they were in the bag I packed it.
