I buy all of my scrubs there and have for years. More often than not the sales people aren’t friendly. This time I bought a pair of Klog nursing shoes for $60 ( they’re no less than $120 online). I thought that $60 was awful cheap but figured they weren’t going to sell them anymore?! I had to wear them to see if they were a comfortable fit. I never wore them outside of my house. They could see that from the bottoms of them. However, they weren’t a comfortable fit at all. So I went back to exchange them for some extra scrubs. I wasn’t trying to just return them. They refused to let me exchange them bc they have a slight crease from the shape of my foot?! They said “no bc they can’t resell them. Why not send them back as defective?!! To keep a customer of many years?! I made sure I didn’t wear them outside, kept the box and receipt to ensure if they weren’t comfortable that I could return or exchange them. did everything the right way to ensure a positive outcome.. I don’t know what else that I could have done to be able to know if they would work for me and should they not, to be able to even return them. I could understand if I had wore them to work or outside but I didn’t and again they could tell. So be very careful on purchasing shoes there for you will be in my same position, Stuck With Shoes That I Can’t Wear. The simple fact that they were less than half price of the same Klogs online makes me wonder if they’re even the real deal. I cannot put into words how disappointed I am. When I bought these they were busy helping some people that work there buying things. I keep a punch card. I spent $160, That Time but only got 2 punches on my card . They told me you only get punches on their punch card “ when you buy items on sale!” I am in complete disbelief and will be sure to warn all of my coworkers about this situation. Again, he could have sent them back to the company for it was evident that I hadn’t wore them outside . Only in my house. Because there is a slight crease in each of them they refused to do Anything to keep a longtime customer. I had 3 receipts stapled together showing how much I go there and spend. Those were just recent purchases. You’re better off buying online. Less hassle! I like to support longtime small businesses but I’m honestly surprised they’re still in business just from the way you’re treated when you come in and you may as well throw your money out the window if you buy shoes and try wearing them. Definitely poor...
Read moreI took my daughter there on Monday to look for scrubs for her new job. As we approached the door a female employee looked out at us and stared us down as if she was not happy that we were coming; making it uncomfortable from the start. Once we were inside she asked if there was something she could help us find; so to possibly save time on our lunch hour, I asked if they had many tall sizes. She impatiently said the rings on the hangers say tall if they're tall. When I called Scrubs and Beyond in Kalamazoo to inquire about tall sizes, I was told in a friendly manner that we would not find a lot of talls.
We looked around a little and saw quite a bit of one brand and completely missed the Gray's Anatomy brand I had in mind. I asked about it and explained my daughter was tiny and tall and that even the xs size she was wearing was a bit baggy. I had hoped for some guidance as far as what brands to lean towards as far as fitting her best. The employee hastily pointed above the apparel to signs labeling sections for each brand and read off the names one by one in the same impatient tone. We looked around a little and found one pair of xs tall pants in the whole store, unfortunately not the color we needed. I would just think the employee would have an idea of the very limited amount of that size in stock and save us time looking. She did ask if there was anything she could help us find after all. Don't offer if you have no intention of truly helping.
I didn't really expect to find a large amount of the size we needed, but was hoping for guidance from someone who has more knowledge in what brands would best fit tall petite figures and maybe some friendliness. Buying online and paying shipping and handling vs asking about possible stock in the back or even ordering through PAC was a definite no brainer, I had enough of feeling like an unwelcome bother.
The store was pretty well stocked and the majority of people could probably find what they needed, I would guess. We more than likely will not go back. I don't believe in treating customers the way we were treated. Customers should feel welcomed and be treated with kindness. The only time she was friendly was when she had to unlock the door to let us out and a man who had come out from the back room was...
Read moreI always have great luck at this store. Several popular name brands available. Prices are average but the clearance section is amazing. If you are shopping the regular priced items and your size isn't on the rack they most likely have it in their warehouse attached to the building and are always happy to go get what you need. I recently went to Scrubs and Beyond. I love the Koi brand. Asked where those were, lady replied that they don't carry them anymore. I then wanted to buy a new pair of Dansko, again was told they don't sell shoes anymore. Brand names are pretty much their brand. I managed to find one outfit and a clearance jacket for $90! . Def wont be going back there.
PAC is AMAZING. Went there recently after my visit to S&B. Shopped clearance for most items. Bought 2 full price pants and about 8 tops for...
