There were no cashiers at the normal checkout counters. There were two cashiers at customer service, the younger one was busy and the older one was sitting in a chair behind the register. It really didn’t look like she worked there. She just looked at the few of us who found our way there and said “we’re it for today” I said can we checkout here, she said “come on”…..she didn’t seemed thrilled to help anyone. She took a long time because she was having a conversation with the other cashier and another customer friend. I had to hand her the items and help her check and bag them because she didn’t move from the chair or want to break her conversation. Customers don’t want to hunt around very long to check out and when you’re checking out you also don’t want a whole production with the cashier! Seemed like she worked there a long time and had some kind of drama. She should greet the customers and check them out effectively so they can get on with their day and back to their jobs! Politeness would be nice but if that’s asking too much just an effective. drama free “check-out”...
Read moreOverall the PX has changed and not for the better, namely two of the checkout/cashier staff up front. The woman who sits at the return/checkout counter is rude, unprofessional and overall not a unpleasant individual. So much so, that other employees who work in other departments hate dealing with her. She is lazy and unattenive to customers, feeling empowered to be sarcastic to customers about mask wearing when she herself doesn't wear hers correctly. There is also another older woman who works in the checkout area who in the past has always been quite nice, however, my last interaction was terrible. So much so another customer was appalled at hiw she spoke to me she actually apologized for her. The employee obviously feels comfortable being openly rude to customers and entitled. It is a shame at the lack of professionalism and laziness being displayed by a just a few which is giving the PX a...
Read moreMy experience was bad We had a reward card from aafes and tried to use it at fort Ruckel exchange. The sales associate could not get it to work, so I told her to put it in manual. She went on to inquire help from a supervisor at the cigarette counter and he checked and there was 48.00 💸 on the card So , he asked the Manager and she did not even try, but said we can't help them, tell them to call the number on the card. Da!! She did not administer any customer service. Being a Manager in Aafes for 20 years , we where taught to give the best customer service. She did not even try to do anything. Bad experience at your Exchange. Tell the Manger that she should be careful when dealing with customers. She never knows who is coming...
