Sea Cave — Local services in Erie

Looking for a simple goldfish for my daughter turning 8 today & Sea Cave came to the rescue! WOW this place is cool! I was a bit worried because of location, but I could not have been more wrong. The owners are incredible people, a true "mom & pop" store. As far as pet supplies stores and fish stores go, Sea Cave is hands down the best. Awesome experience. The owners clearly care for their customers, their fish, and their brand. Did I mention the price?! I was certain they'd forgotten to ring something up when gave me the total for everything (I had no fish tank, gravel, food, fish, etc. - needed the works). Oh also - I brought my daughter in when making the purchase and the owner spoke with her as if she was an adult - SO cute. He gave her a business card and said "you be sure to call me if you have any questions" - just adorable. She took the entire experience very seriously and is over the moon with her new goldfish. Sea Cave is great place to get anything aquarium related and locally owned. Their tanks are very clean and their salt water tanks are gorgeous with beautiful live corals and anenomies. They have a nice selection of healthy fresh water plants and fish and are reasonably priced. I was looking for a specific tropical water fish they did not usually carry and Colleen was very helpful and quickly looked it up and ordered them especially for me. Hands down the BEST fish/aquarium/equipment shop around. LOCALLY OWNED, too. If you're into saltwater, they have all sorts of exotic and colorful fish, live rock, corals and more. Or if you're into freshwater like me, I'm an African cichlid guy, they have all sorts of colorful fam-friendly to more advanced freshwater fish.
