Kraus Department Store — Local services in Erie

Wow this place has way more than I expected. I still haven't been able to browse through every isle but I'm getting closer lol. That's because I only get there when I happen to go with my boss and can only look around until he is done and ready to leave. See they close I believe at 5:30 Monday thru Friday and well I work till 4:30 so by the time I walk all the way there it would probably be just about closing time. But they have basically every tool one could possibly need, carry an assortment of brands that vary in price depending on I'm guessing quality and popularity. They have everything you would expect to find in a hardware store. But then they also carry stuff like clothes, Hats, wallets, a few different children's toys, ladies brooches, bicycle accessories, as well as different items for your pets. Yesterday I found an isle with a large assortment of candies and snacks. So every visit tends to turn up something new and interesting to check out. I Love this store! They are everything that is missing in retail sales today! If I want something specific and of great quality I can find it at Kraus unlike at Lowe’s or Home Depot. or many of the big corporate stores. I especially appreciate their willingness to search for items and special order things that I need so as I don’t have to settle for something less than what I wanted. I may pay a little more for things but , it is worth it to me to get what I want.. That is called service and that is what is totally missing in retail sales today. Shopping online is not fun and to much trouble you get the items then they are not the right material and you have to send it back and wait another 3 weeks to get it ! I had to wait 6 months for a BBQ grill from another company. I absolutely recommend Kraus Department Store...

I absolutely LOVE this store. They are ALL very knowledgeable, helpful, and always on point. I choose to go here instead of Lowe's or Home Depot not just because it's closer than those two, but because I love the staff here WAY better than the retail stores. I moved here from Maryland 3 years ago, I wish we would've had a Kraus's there. SOME things are a little more pricey, but I'd rather pay local store that's been family owned for over 5 generations. They have such an awesome variety of stuff too. Anything from kitchen items, to ANY kind of tape or adhesive, to paint, to glass and plexiglass, to lampshades, to ANY kind of light bulb you need.
