I have been here 4 times recently each time I have been helped by the same 2 different men one older gentleman and one younger than him. Don't quote me but it seems like they may be related and this is most likely a family run business . My problem is... They were not friendly and almost unfriendly. I felt like they just stood at the counter and stared at me. They never came around the counter and asked if I needed help. All 4 situations I came in for were new to my ranch and I was just learning.... A little help would have been appreciated. There are more feed stores in the same vicinity and I will stick with them for my next purchases. It stinks for me because my parents live just a couple blocks from here . If the owners happen to read this Please get an attitude adjustment and try not to be so stuck up.

Ken and all the staff are awesome: friendly and knowledgeable! Escalon Feed has better prices for the same products you will find at the large chain feed stores. Escalon Feed has everything you need for farm/animal supplies, and, on a rare occasion, if they don't have something, they will get it for you. Another rare quality you will find at Escalon Feed is that they don't just sell you stuff; they find ways for you to get what you need AND save you money by making suggestions for equal products that cost less (even if they have the more expensive product). Go here for all of your farm and animal supplies, from boots and clothes to jewelry, fencing, salt, feed, and more... And, they load it all for you. Check it out, I guarantee that you will be pleased!!!

Escalon Feed Store is always fun to buy stuff from because the owner has a knack for attracting employees as warm and sincerely helpful as he is. There is a wonderful mascot dog named "Tippy" who is super gentle & calm.

They have a good selection of quality ranch cloths - boots, and so forth. If I buy enough hay and feed they deliver it. I can also order live chickens; last year got 50 Rhode Island Reds. This year I'll get some Buff Opingtons.

A really good local resource for your ranch. High quality fencing & tools....
