AT&T Store — Local services in Escanaba

My husband and I stopped at the AT&T store in Escanaba, Michigan to get help on a router issue regarding using VIOP phones. Christine Christoff helped us and was she ever the best. She explained how we could put our cell phones on WiFi calling and eliminate the need for a VIOP phone. If we hadn't stopped in to see what light someone there could shed on our issue, we would still be looking for a router with modem capabilities and not being successful, as well as more frustrated. The following week I stopped by again to see if AT&T had hardwire landlines and was helped by Angie - though AT&T does not have hardwired landlines any longer, Angie explained what they did have in the way of a modem. She wrote down all the information regarding cost, so if we decide we still wanted a "house phone" we would have some ideas. The entire team at this store is incredibly helpful and they know their stuff! Christine is the one who usually helps with any of the questions I have but Tabby and Angie are top notch as well! They always listen to my needs and figure out what our best plan is. If there are any issues (which rarely happens), I stop by and they get it solved quickly. I can comfortably swing by on my lunch break because they're that quick and efficient. The last couple of times I upgraded my phones, they were very thorough and explained to me what the new contract amount would be breaking it all down so I knew exactly what to expect. I never waste my time trying to call into AT&T's automated system. The ladies at the store can usually get me what I need and have me on my way long before anyone on the help line would even answer. Not sure why anyone would shop for a phone here. With the recent fiasco that was Apple iPhone X preorder, my plan was to pick one up at this store but imagine my surprise when they informed me that they did not receive any iPhone Xs and that they didn’t know when they would get any!!! What the heck and who the heck is running this place?!?! I was able to go across the street and found out that Verizon had several models of iPhone X in and I could buy one immediately as long as I purchased or had a Verizon phone account! It has now been one month since the iPhone X has been on sale and this store still has not received any!! I would say they are pretty low on Apple’s list of sellers and maybe that has to do with the way they respond to their customers needs!!!! Take it from me, you don’t want to deal with this...
