Booked for a baby shower and canceled on us a week and a half before the event because the decorator felt "disrespected" when going over payment details. Poor communication/ overall experience . Gave us a written contract with price breakdown as well as all of the policies and stipulations but somehow forgot to mention that the service would have to be paid IN FULL a week prior to the actual day of the event? Never heard of a business that runs this way but we were also told "Me and everyone I know who does this operate this way". We were then told this was communicated to us "verbally" multiple times. We were also denied a return on our deposit since "It was only $50" but the WRITTEN contract says "$20-$150 refunable deposit when all rental equipment is returned in condition taken or picked up." Didn't take any equipment to begin with. Would give zero...
